“This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. “My second time here but first since the name change. It was a lovely grand room. Very comfortable My only ding was that the grout between the tiles in the shower needed cleaning. A bit mildewed”

“The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! ”

“No information re the caravan or facilities. Disappointed as no internet, specifically booked as stated free wi-fi in cottage. Stay was mid house move so internet was needed. Otherwise nice clean, well equipped caravan.”

“A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage.”

“Loved everything location the lovely cottage itself everything you need the only slight downside is it’s pot luck with parking but I would recommend if you are there for 3 days or more a weekly parking pass for £15 is the go for the car park just down the road by the canal 😀”
