Cox Mill House a Wolftrap Farm

Wolftrap Farm dispone di sette case vacanze separate. Nei week-end, durante i mesi caldi del tempo, siamo principalmente un luogo di nozze. Tuttavia, la Cox Mill House, che si trova appena fuori dal cancello posteriore della fattoria, è spesso disponibile anche quando abbiamo matrimoni prenotati in azienda e di solito è disponibile durante la settimana e durante la bassa stagione per i matrimoni.

La Cox Mill House è una spaziosa "modulare" (doppia larghezza), con uno splendido interno. Noi possiediamo una galleria di mobili e usiamo un interior designer per rendere gli interni delle nostre case davvero pop. Questa casa dispone di un ampio soggiorno con camino. Tutte le nostre case hanno vani di fuoco all'esterno, e forniamo il legno. La tua vista dal ponte frontale è dei nostri paddock più grandi della fattoria, proprio di fronte a Cox Mill Road. Ci sono chilometri di sentieri per camminare sulla fattoria 600 ettari, e un sacco di cavalli per l'animale domestico e le mucche da guardare.

Il Cox Mill House è a soli 1 e 1/2 miglia dalla U. S. Autostrada 15, che rende facile escursioni per visite turistiche e shopping. Siamo a metà strada tra Gordonsville e Orange, quindi hai la tua scelta di villaggio pittoresco o County Seat, ogni meno di 5 miglia di distanza. Ognuno ha abbondanti ristoranti, negozi caratteristici, musei e tutti i comfort moderni.

L'azionamento a Monticello attraverso Keswick e Shadwell è uno dei percorsi più panoramici in America. Montpelier è a soli 15 minuti di distanza, direttamente sulle montagne che si vede dalla facciata della fattoria.

Le aziende vinicole di Barboursville, Horton, Keswick e Honna Lee sono raggiungibili in 20 minuti di auto e Early Mountain dista 30 minuti.

CLEAN! Spacious. Good lighting, seating, storage, beds, kitchen, etc. Would recommend to ALL. Great communication with management while there (regarding a maintenance issue). Away from hub-bub of city, but convenient to tourist attractions (Monticello, Montpelier). Also, just a short drive to the "Country Cooking Depot."

Our group really enjoyed our one night stay in Gordonsville at this adorable property. Plenty of space inside and out. Clean and comfy in all areas. Beautiful setting. I had to ask for the wifi password and the owner responded within minutes to my text. Now that is customer service!!!

Perfect for our needs. Family event in Charlottesville so this property was our landing spot. We didnt spend much time at the property, just stopped and changed before event and then slept, showered and left. Beds were very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus for 6 of us. We actually stayed at Baldy retreat due to HVac being repaired at Mill house. Communication about the need to move us was great. Very nice spread out houses surrounded by horse pastures. Great location. Would be great for family outdoor activities if that is your plan!

Location was great with a beautiful farm and horses across the road. It was quiet and serene. House could use some fixing up, extra silver wear, and a water filtration system. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean.

The house is spacious with three big bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen has everything you need. And the grounds are so much fun

The house could have been cleaner. The walls were even dirty! Something was wrong with the water pressure. Floors were sticky. Something is either leaking from the refrigerator or there was a spill that wasn't cleaned up. We had a good time, but would have appreciated a cleaner house.

My family and I attended a wedding in the area. The property was just as described and very clean. Hosts were communicative and helpful, and check-in/out processes were straightforward. Love that dogs are allowed which made the weekend much easier for us. Would stay here again!

We stayed for a night after visiting Charlottesville and before Monticello the next day. Communication with the manager was good. We found the space nice and clean. The bedrooms and living space were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. We tried to clean the gas grill but even so our meal went up in flames, the only negative. Overall my wife and our friends appreciated the quiet, beauty of the area, and the accomodations.

Our family was so pleased with our stay. Everything from checking in/out and the accommodations was awesome. Our purpose for our stay was to be there for daughters wedding nearby. With all the festivities surrounding this family event our stay on the farm and the ease and comfort there made it less stressful and more enjoyable and relaxing. The home is very spacious for our family of 8 and there was room for more. It definitely felt like home away from home. Thank you!!

Tina was excellent to work with and our stay was fabulous. The property was as promised and I would stay there again. Walking our Aussies on the farm and seeing the horses was relaxing. Very quiet area and zero problems!

Enjoyed our stay at the Cox Mill House. It was quiet and peaceful... a perfect getaway spot. The home is nicely decorated, and the Christmas tree with lights was a nice added touch for the holidays. We came up to VA to visit my grandkids who live nearby, and we were able to let them do a little fishing at the beautiful pond at Wolf Trap Farm across the street. My grandson was thrilled to catch a bream fish. We will definitely be back again.
