“Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. “Nice quiet location for our stay. Overall well equipped but minimal silverware. Keurig coffee was provided which was a nice addition. Minimal ice, only one tray. Beds were comfortable and rooms with necessities available. Location was perfect to get to the convention center in about 12-15 minutes and close to restaurants. Host was very responsive. “We had a dinner for a grooms dinner and found this to be the perfect spot! The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful to cook in. Our guests were very impressed. It was immaculate and their is a Whole Foods just a block and a half away or a costco a short drive away. We loved cooking on the grill on the deck and the guys enjoyed having the gas fireplace and couches there as well! Lovely place!”
