While we found outside of property lovely and well groomed (although the amenities said there was a balcony and it was a one story building), the inside was not as expected. First of all, I had looked carefully at the rooms to see what had the highest rating. I chose #14, but the day of our arrival we were assigned to #6. This was never communicated with us. That room was disappointing. The mattress/ bed was weak and folded a bit in the middle like a taco causing me to roll into my husband. So I went to the futon sofa to sleep, but when I opened it, it was dirty and full of crumbs. I tried to clean it, but there were no kitchen towels or paper towels in the kitchenette, so I had to use our bathroom hand towel. But there were no sheets or blankets provided for the sofa, so back to the taco bed. Also two of the three stools at the bar were broken. There was no hair dryer or iron (That’s on me. They were not listed in the amenities list). Finally, there was no toiletries like soap or shampoo which was ok because we brought our own, but that should have been communicated. I did report these things to the management and they offered to bring in kitchen towels and new stools, but it was late and we had to leave early the next day. My suggestions for management: the little things matter. Check for kitchen towels.Include toiletries (it can even be inexpensive Suave products). Consider providing a hair dryer and iron. Have a set of linens for futon in closet. Communicate any changes
