“This hotel is a treasure in the heart of Sumpter Landing. So many great venues are just steps away. Restaurants, entertainment, shopping, all so close by. The hotel has spacious, clean well appointed rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area has comfortable furniture and the pool is clean and heated. The views of the lake from the waterside are delightful. We enjoyed cocktails at Calipso in the lobby area which were delicious and reasonably priced at happy hour (2-5 p.m.). We will be...

“The daily parking fee is ridiculous. The hotel has it's own lot, not a garage, and isn't even located in a crowded downtown area where anyone else would park there. So why charge guests an additional fee to park after they have already paid for a room? Hotels in other areas where guests must pay to park in garages typically reimburse guests for parking fees incurred during their stay. This unnecessary fee cost the hotel a star in my opinion.”

“If you are looking for just a bed and shower this is your place. My husband and I live an hour away but we were in town for the Megan Woods concert and we didn't want to drive home afterwards. Unknowingly the hotel was a mile away from the school so that was a perk! I didn't want to pay out a lot of money for a fancy hotel when I have a beautiful house so we weren't looking for amenities.
