Country vacation (2.5 acres) yet close to the Indian River and 20 minutes from the beach. 63 miles from Kennedy Space Center, 2 miles from the nearest boat ramp and 23 miles from Sebastian Inlet. Bring your well behaved pets ,enjoy the swimming pool and outdoor grill.

Perfect for a staycation

Our family live nearby and needed to relocate for a few days while work was being done on our home. We chose this place and it turned into a mini vacation, the pool and property were fantastic. The house was cute, clean and very comfortable. Bonnie was super communicative and helpful, we would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience!

Great spot in a very cool neighborhood

Bonnie was a great host and a great communicator. Very easy to contact and very responsive. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked. The property is very large with a pool and a small pond and all fenced in. I loved seeing the sandhill cranes and deer. There was even some feed in the freezer for them. Nice quiet neighborhood with close proximity to Sebastian as well as some cool little restaurants in Grant and Malabar. I highly recommend Mermaid retreat.

Loved!

We were visiting friends and wanted a house close to them. This was perfect for our family of five- (18 month old, 6 year old and 8 year old). One room had toys and games for them which was perfect since we flew here. We didn’t end up using the pool but it was a nice size. The pond was awesome. My kids loved feeding the fish. One morning we woke up to a Sand Hill Crane at our front door. Saw lots of deer. The house was spacious and comfortable and we felt every need we had was met with what was provided in the house. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back.

Great retreat

Bonnie was great and on top of the booking and communications. Her home was a described. The home had everything you needed and more. Close to enough to everything but nestled away to be peaceful. Will definitely book again.

Peaceful, private, and so MUCH SPACE!

The host put so much thought into what a family needs when they are away from home. The house had everything! So much space, from the rooms in the house to the backyard. Our family enjoyed the pool while having wildlife visit us(turkey, deer, rabbits, sand hill cranes) such a peaceful environment. Minutes from stores, beaches, and shopping centers This place will definitely be our go to when we visit the river.

Truly amazing

What a hidden gem just outside of Sebastian we absolutely love the property and the house and all the decorations. The property managers were wonderful with their communication and accommodations. I highly recommend staying here. I would love to stay here again, thank you so much for your hospitality.

Nature at its Best

Bonnie was amazing to communicate with, and the place was absolutely beautiful. We saw deer every day and the Sandhill Cranes were around. My dogs loved all the land and we enjoyed the pool on these hot summer days!! 100% would recommend!!

Beautiful home inside and out! Very private and peaceful!

We had a wonderful time bringing in the new year here! We had a fire pit, pool time, and grilled on the lanai. It was peaceful and we loved feeding the Sandhill Cranes that visited daily. Rt. 1 had so many areas to park and to enjoy the water views and local restaurants. Lovely home inside and out.

Great country road and wildlife!

We stayed at this place for a wedding that was held right down the street at Grant Station. It was a perfect short backroad drive to the venue. The location of the house was perfect & quiet! There was a beautiful family of deer in the evening and two white tailed does in the morning. The pictures don’t do the place justice! The bedrooms were huge and there was plenty of space! The children’s room had some toys that my son enjoyed playing with once he got bored of his own! 10/10 would stay again!
