“3rd time staying at the West Point Motel. Close to post and straight forward place. Simple rooms, nothing fancy. Gets the job done!”

“Loved our stay at the historic Thayer. My one consideration for the future is that there were a lot of events happening at the hotel on a Saturday and it would have been wonderful for Zulu or Pattons to be open earlier. We didn’t have any places to congregate while we were waiting for shuttles so the lobby became fairly crowded. Minor in the scheme of things as it really was a wonderful property.”

“The room had a distinct sewage/mildew smell. Extremely prevalent in the bathroom. I contacted the front desk immediately, and was told " it's very common there, and I should open the window, and run the shower simultaneously, and that should help with the smell a bit". The front desk also brought down a bottle of disinfectant to " help with the smell". I also was never informed before or after booking that the pool was unavailable! The hotel claimed it was on their website, but I booked...

“Parking lot is a mess. Check in easy. Everything is old and unclean. We almost left after walking into the room, unfortunately there were not any vacancies in the places we wanted to stay. Washcloth was stained, towels very thin, no tissues, no soap dish for hand washing soap, limited plugs for charging, very thin bed linens. However it did have iron and ironing board, mini fridge and a very small microwave. I wouldn’t recommend this place. We will plan ahead next time so we do not have...

“Parking was easy with a big lot and the location was convenient, but unfortunately the road noise was incredibly disruptive and woke us up several times. We arrived at our room late and it was super hot - we tried to crank the AC but turning fan to “high” did not actually seem to be high and it took several hours to cool off.”

“This could be a nice quiet motel if they cleaned it up,having mouse traps and ant traps in the room along with no garbage can ,sheets for curtains and no drinking cups didn’t sit well. The bed had 2 flat pillows and had to drive out for coffee. The only nice thing was the bed was clean at least.”

“I’m just disappointed that the windows don’t have locks at all other than that it’s a good room with jacuzzi. I just hope that their housekeeper would be transparent and honest since the last time I stayed in this property I left something in one of the drawers but they are claiming there is none found or left. 💁‍♂️😞”

“It was a little bit of a maze to find the room and the hallways looked dated and there was a bit of a smell, but once we got to the room it felt like I was in a different place lol. The room was clean, had no smell, more amenities than a regular hotel, shower with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable, smart TV, full fridge with freezer. Very happy with the room”

“The property is in a great location, walkable to many restaurants. Room was very clean but the bathroom was underwhelming: with no shower door and water plashing in front of the toilet. The sink was actually in the bedroom, which was annoying as you're always making more noise than you would if it was in the bathroom. With that set up they should do the room everyday, but you actually have to ask. Don't get me wrong, we had a nice stay, but in their prize range, I expect more. The 4th floor...

“Facility was open 1 month. Rooms were well kept,,,bedding & bathrobes -top shelf. Room had adequate closet space ,,,,but did lack drawer space. Very large bathroom --but 2 sink vanity was on the small side. Staff was good, helpful & pleasant (some waiter service, needed more "seasoning". Town of Beacon very nice ---plenty of nice restaurants & pubs. Overall a very good experience.”
