“My family and I booked this place for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was very well stocked! The kitchen is beautiful, and there is plenty of space for everyone! The basement was well stocked for the kids and kept them occupied even on a rainy day. Beds were comfortable. Be warned about gathering in the living room at night, as the master bedroom is a loft and can hear everything happening in the living room. The rooms were all nice, except that one of the kings is in the loft without a door and facing the living room. “We enjoyed an extended stay at Otter’s Way in early spring. As others have said, this property is exceptional. The grounds with the ponds are a natural paradise, so much fun to watch and hear the many birds, otters, frogs (and even local cows down the way). “Overall a good stay at a newer property. The biggest issue was definitely the lack of window coverings. Many of the windows have none. And even those that do, the coverings are very thin and don't block light at all. No opportunity to take a decent nap, and come summer it would be awful with how early the sun rises. “We loved the rustic cabin and all its cozy amenities. We loved touring the town, a horse trail ride and a massage. We traveled down to the beautiful Cacopon River and up to Prospect Peak. Even enjoyed a rainy day reading on the screened porch, fishing the pond in the morning and streaming a movie at night. Special shout out to the shop owners and delicious Lot 12 chef. “Beautiful property with lovely views! We saw a fox, deer, and geese. Nicely secluded, but still close to major cities and great base-camp for sightseeing in the area. Upstairs can get a bit warm, master bedroom mattress is very firm (some may not like that), and 3rd bedroom mattress was uncomfortable according to my college aged daughters. Overall fabulous stay. Owner communication was great too! My husband said he would buy the property if it came up for sale.”

“This is just what my partner and I wanted. The cabin is cozy, clean and comfortable on a peaceful, well-maintained property, surrounded by nature. The fireplace operates on gas, so you won’t need firewood. If you plan on doing some cooking, you might want to bring a good chef’s knife, but the kitchen is pretty well equipped. No complaints!
