Do bring food with you as there's not a restaurant at the hotel and you'll have to go back into Carnarvon to eat otherwise - where options are limited. Bring cat treats too if you want to be popular with the feline greeters The host is very welcoming and you'll enjoy seeing the ostriches on this working farm ”

“Amazing location if you wish to disconnect from the city life. You’ll have to drive about 12km on a gravel road after you go through the main gate (this is where google map stops). I recommend a car with good ground clearance (Toyota cross worked great for me). The night sky is very clear if you’re a stargazer and the SALT Telescope is about 45 mins drive. “We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. ”
