“Such a lovely safari lodge in a wonderful surrounding. The Karoo ist beautiful in spring. Great safari guides with a great knowledge. Beautiful swimming pool area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We saw a lot of animals and very close. I can highly recommend this place. ”

“It was very hard to find the place as Google maps didn't recognise the address we were provided, for this reason we arrived late and having booked only one night we couldn't do any activity. The room in the cavewas very impressive and the view as well. Unfortunately there is no signal nor wifi in the rooms and they provide you with a small free amount of data (50=MB) to be used only in the restourant and the bar. The restourant menu is quite good but the food (please consider that the nearest...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place”

“Everything about this hotel is great. They take you back in time when nothing was too good for you. I have been in South Africa for 6 weeks and the evening meal was delicious on all courses. The best I have had on this trip. Service very friendly and helpful. ”
