“This is a beautiful, old-fashioned hotel, Victorian in style. There's a wrap around porch, a sitting area in the front, and we had our own private little balcony. They sell fudge at the desk, there's an espresso bar in the front, and there are fresh chocolate chip cookies every night. "We stayed at this large hotel located right in the heart of downtown Toronto. The staff was professional and courteous throughout our stay. Our upgraded room—one of the superior rooms with two comfortable double beds—was clean, spacious, and pleasant. Originally, we had booked a room with a single double bed, but upon check-in, we found a piece of broken glass on the bathroom floor. Aside from that issue, we were quite satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel offers good value for the price, especially considering the location and service."
