Cottage a Great Sacandaga Lake

“We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!”

Upon arriving through a dirt road leading up to the house, the view of the lake emerges and an overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility ascends upon you. Entering the A-frame cabin there’s a deck with comfortable furniture to sit and enjoy the view and listen to the eagles, blue jays, loons calls and songs. There is a propane fire pit and BBQ to use. “Perfect little place to stay right on the lake. 3 bedrooms all with comfy beds. We didn’t spend much time in the house but it was a good base for us to explore the local area a bit and mostly spend time on the lake. Lake access is right across the street. The street isn’t too busy so we had no problem crossing down to the lake. Chairs, a fire pit and some kayaks and a canoe were provided by the lake. Views were great! Hosts were very responsive and check in/check out very easy. Would stay again!...
