“This place was a very unique stay. Lots of history here. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. No issues with the stay. Would recommend.”

“Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us! “The home is beautiful and spacious! The couch in the living room was very comfortable and the TV was a smart tv so we could access apps we subscribed to and logged in. All the bedrooms also have TVs in them as well which was nice as some guests prefer to fall asleep with a tv on. The beds/pillows were great and we all felt like we were getting a good nights sleep. “The house was clean and kitchen well stocked. The area down by the lake was great. We went swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding right off the dock. ”

“I spilled soda on the floor and the next day after the cleaning staff was there the floor was still sticky. Around the building, against the building weeds were a foot tall. Parts of the building are rotting or being eaten by insects. Each time we entered or left the building we had to pass through smoke from staff and others who were sitting there smoking and vaping. The so called “free breakfast” was almost non existent and what little was there was unpleasant.”
