Hotel vicino a Great Stony Park - Ongar

“Casa di campagna antica, adattata a diventare hotel. Ottimo servizio.

“No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. Chair provided also had food remains, hair and dust from previous guests. Bed matress should have been retired many ,many guests ago. Springs digging in and undulating as lay. Bathroom was comparatively clean but also like the rest of the room very tired in appearance. Car park can be a little cramped, and can make...

“Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC”

“Comfortable hotel in the countryside, high quality of restaurant.”

“Shame no connection with the town center if you don’t have a car ”

“The bar maid was very argumentative. We told her we had a reservation to which she informed us that they do not take reservation for less than 6 people. When the professional gentleman returned he took us to our table which had our room number on it. Furthermore, she proceeded to serve a tall, good looking man who approached the bar way after we had been standing a waiting.”
