  • Joanie`s Farmhouse is a fully renovated farmhouse located on a private 20 acre waterfront farm on Lake Ontario. Enjoy your stay relaxing down at the lake (located down the lane), or touring the local restaurants, wineries, and breweries with friends and family.

    Conveniently located, 10 minutes drive to the Glenora ferry bringing you to Prince Edward County or 25 minutes drive to Kingston.

    Large lakefront located down the lane, next to the barn (walk or drive down!) has a dock, fire pit, chairs, and lots of space to gather.

    We are close by should you need anything during your stay!

    Please note, periodically you may see people on the property to access farm buildings or equipment.

We had a great stay - the house was very clean and well equipped, we enjoyed the hot tub and walk down to the water front.

We loved our week long stay at the farmhouse and would visit again! The farmhouse interior was very comfortable, and had everything we needed, with very comfortable beds, wifi, central AC, a dishwasher two coffee makers, a well equipped kitchen and a luxury bath and shower. The country setting with the beautiful wheat field in the back was perfect and quiet, and really let us disconnect and rest. We enjoyed the firepit in the backyard and even though we didn't swim, the water access was there and was nice to explore. Bring bug spray and water shoes if you do swim. We wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to be back!

You will not be disappointed

Extremely clean, beautiful home, well appointed. Hot tub was fantastic. The area by the lake is amazing! The hosts were accommodating and kept in touch to see if we needed anything. Close to everything you would want to see (day trips) but far enough outside of the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great time. The house and hot tub were excellent. Everything was clean plenty of amenities. The fire pit outback was great. We used it numerous times. There is lots of wood to burn. It’s a great spot for the dogs to roam, If you keep them out of the front yard as it’s very close to a busy highway. thanks again.

We had a really good stay at Joanie’s Farmhouse! The home itself is spacious, clean, and has many thoughtful touches that help you feel at ease if you forgot something. The option of two fire pits close to either the house or lakeshore was awesome. We and our pup enjoyed wandering down the lane way to lake. The water was super clear and we were able to go in from the dock without water shoes-though if walking in from shore you would want some. Jumping into the hot tub after a refreshing swim and looking out over the fields towards the lake was relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed heading to the wineries close by, the brewery in Bath, followed by some delicious southern BBQ.We would definitely rent again and stay longer so we have a chance to explore all Prince Edward County has to offer. Thank you for an excellent weekend away!

Nous avons eu un excellent séjour. L'accès est facile, la maison est vraiment très belle et bien entretenue, la cuisine est bien équipée et il ne manque de rien. La maison est grande et avec beaucoup de fenêtres. Tout était très propre. Très beau patio, spa, grand terrain privé donnant accès au lac Ontario. Nous avons déjeuné tous les matins sur le patio à regarder au loin le lac. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et attentifs. La maison est située à quelques minutes du traversier Glenora menant à PEC. Nous avons grandement apprécié cet endroit et nous le recommandons assurément.
