Esperienza positiva, staff gentile e cordiale pronto ad aiutare in qualsiasi momento. Posizione perfetta,circa 10 minuti di auto dal centro di Chania. Unica pecca, dimensioni del bagno ridotte.

Serve la macchina per arrivarci in quanto è a 10 minuti da chania. Il personale é molto cordiale, le stanze sono piccole ma cofortevoli. Pecca il bagno, minuscolo e progettato male. Doccia con tenda e non con box...si allaga ovunque e lo scarico del wc quando abbiamo soggiornato noi non andava bene. La colazione normale, niente di spettacolare né di deludente. Un po' sotto le aspettative però . Si ha il parcheggio comodo per l'auto e si può raggiungere una spiaggia lì vicino camminando 15 minuti.

Qualità prezzo ottima
Mi sono trovato benissimo, il titolare Theo è molto disponibile per ogni cosa. Avevamo una camera vista mare laterale ma ci è stata data il secondo giorno una vista mare diretto, molto bella. Nell'annesso ristorante la sera si mangia molto bene. WIFI gratis, postazione internet gratis, personale disponibile.. La posizione della struttura è poco fuori chania, il bus passa poco distante e costa poco. In alternativa in 20 minuti a piedi siete in centro. Unico difetto i bagni, davvero piccoli ma comunque puliti.

Il soggiorno in questo hotel e' stato molto gradevole. E' posizionato su una collinetta, con vista mare e la cittadina di Chania a circa 2 km. La gestione e' affidata a giovani molto cordiali e disponibili. La camera era pulita e sebbene molto spartana aveva tutto il necessario.

Hotel pratico
Hotel situato vicino a Chania e Platanias. A poca distanza dalla main road. Intorno all'hotel c'è il nulla. Il bagno della camera abbassa di molto il giudizio, la doccia è fatta malissimo ogni volta si allaga tutto il bagno!!!

L'hotel e' molto essenziale sia per la qualita' dei servizi offerti che per la quantita'. Gestori davvero molto gentili e disponibili, anche se non presenti durante tutto il giorno.Posizionato molto vicino al centro di Hania. Pulizia dell'hotel nella media della Grecia, anzi forse anche un po' piu' curata.

Solo per chi sa accontentersi!
Dati i prezzi, sicuramente molto competitivi, non m'aspettavo certo un albergo di lusso, ma devo dire che la qualità è stata notevolmente al di sotto delle aspettative. Pulizia a giorni alterni, coperte impolverate e brucite di sigarette, colazione di recupero con succo d'rancia sintetico. Insomma, andateci solo se volete viaggiare al risparmio!

Quiet, little hotel located just outside Chania. Easy acces to downtown with a bus every 20 minutes. Busstop only 300 m from the hotel. Pool is small but the beach is only couple of hundred meters from the hotel. Rooms are very basic, but with everything you need, incl. a balcony. Kept clean and tidy by the friendly cleaning Ladies. At the reception a norwegian guy, Frode, will help you with everything you want to know: where to go and how to get there. If he doesn’t know it, it’s not worth knowing! Solid breakfast with something to choose for everyone. From the breakfast room there is a wonderful view to the sea. Theodosi restaurant at the hotel serves very tasty meals to affordable price and service is fantastic like everywhere else at the hotel. All in all Alexis hotel can be warmly recommended: it could easily have 3 stars, the staff is worth 5 stars!

Friendly staff, hotel has pool, great onsite restaurant, and rooms have a nice side view of the mountains and sea. Unfortunately the beds were hard as a rock. Waking up in pain every day puts a damper on the experience. The breakfast has loads of options and the dinner restaurant is fantastic. There is only 1 vegan option, so I wouldn’t recommend the half board to vegans, maybe vegetarians, and definitely to omnivores.

Nous tenons à remercier toute l’équipe qui ont contribué à la qualité de notre séjour à l’hôtel et au restaurant. Ayant déjà séjourné à l’Alexis il y a 3 ans, nous avons apprécié les travaux d’améliorations des chambres notamment au niveau de la salle de bain. N’oubliez pas de prendre vos dîners au restaurant de l’hôtel : vous y trouverez une grande variété de plats, la quantité et surtout d’une grande qualité. Enfin, en cette période de Covid-19, nous tenons à préciser la mise en place efficace de mesures de prévention.

The hotel was better than the photos. The room was large enough for us and a 1 year old, the breakfast had a lot of variety, the restaurant was very good and convenient as we arrived late and tired. It is a walkable distance to town & several beaches for us! The staff was outstanding in all aspects! My only regret is not have booked half-board to include dinner!

This is a wonderful friendly family hotel where Theo and his staff work hard to ensure guests have a unique experience. Food in the restaurant is lovely. Rooms are very clean and there are many repeat customers like me, which is testament to how high standards are here.

Very relaxing and friendly staff
The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. The room was cleaned daily. We had a peaceful time and ate at the restaurant on two evenings. Both times the food was amazing. We enjoyed meeting the rest of our family for breakfast which was very relaxed. They even made us a packed breakfast when we had an early morning start. The bathroom could do with some adjustments as there was no shelf to put toiletries etc and the shower curtain was a bit annoying but otherwise for the price of our stay we thought it was fair and would definitely come back. We had a car so easy to get around but our friends walked to beaches and to Venetian harbour and to the old town and a taxi back cost them 6 euros

The staff were friendly and very helpful,The room was clean, had a safety box and a small fridge. It has a nice furnished sunny balcony. We were offered a kettle, a hairdryer and extra towels for the pool (the pool was lovely) the bathroom was tiny and a bit of a squeeze to use the toilet. The food was excellent. While the hotel was spotless the area around and the walk down to the beach had a lot of litter.

What a find!
For someone who researches every single aspect of a place when booking a hotel, this was an amazing find. Every single person we came into contact with were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. I think we had THE best room (205) with amazing views. The room was basic but comfortable, with a fridge and a kettle. The shower was a standard Greece cubicle with shower curtain. The beds were a little too hard for me but my partner liked them (he says I'm like Goldilocks and it's hard to please me with bed softness). The location was fine for us,around a 25 minute walk to the centre and 10 minutes to the beach. The path can be a little slippery down a hill, so perhaps take sturdy walking shoes. The beach/pool towels were a nice touch plus other things such as being able to have boarding passes printed out and the use of an iron/hairdryer for free. The breakfast was lovely, with different selections every day and a pancake maker. We didn't use the pool as it was too cold, but we did sunbathe for a few hours around it and it was a nice area to relax. The only negative to our stay was a group of other guests who were staying in adjacent rooms, they were noisy and inconsiderate, however that wasn't the fault of the hotel. I would stay here again if we I was to come back, without without the children.

Usual thing with some Greek Hotels is the lack of morning hot water. Other than that the reception service was very good, the place was clean and the restaurant exceptional at dinner. Breakfast was a bit disappointing given the standard of dinner but for the price ....

Walk uphill was a bit unsafe at night as lighting poor .Shower rooms need upgrading.

Peaceful
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was included was excellent. The restaurant also served delicious food. It was only a 10 minute bus drive into Chania and a taxi back was 6 Euros.

Nice quiet hotel on the edge of town
We wanted a small hotel in a quiet location but within walking distance of Chania. As we are keen walkers, we favoured the route along the coast which took 15 to 20 minutes. First you have to descend by a path over scrub and then make your way over sandy paths to the coast path. You can walk along the shore if you prefer. That local beach was lovely and unspoilt with sand and some shingle. There are two tavernas just after the footbridge. If you want Aptera Beach and beyond, to the west, descend by the path, turn left by the green house and wind through the roads. That beach is busier but quiet at the far end by the rocks where it is good for snorkelling. We preferred the small, older taverna to the right of the car park mainly for drinks. The larger one unfortunately turns on the music in the afternoons, at least in high season. We hired a car for a few days and there are several rental companies in town. The National Road gets you to places quickly but we'd also recommend trips into the mountains.

First-rate 2-star hotel
Everything about this hotel, its friendly and helpful owners, its superb restaurant with modern Cretan cuisine, the simple but impeccably maintained bedrooms, the small but quiet and relaxing swimming pool area, was great. I had a wonderful week there and would happily return tomorrow. Although it is situated up quite a steep hill with limited direct access to the nearest beach, it is very easy to catch a bus for the short ride to both the beaches and the delightful port town of Chania, with its myriad shops, restaurants, bar and Venetian-style harbour.
