Hotel fronte mare
Hotel discreto, fronte mare, ristorante a prezzi buoni. Spiaggia bella con mare trasparente. Un piccolo problema con l'aria condizionata ma risolto in un paio di giorni. Personale gentile e simpatico. Un bellissimo cane a farci compagnia!

Lovely place on the beach
Lovely hotel with a bar and restaurant right on the beach and great hospitality and good food. Clean and friendly place. Heraklion is just a short bus ride away. The sea is beautiful and the beach not too crowded. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday by the beach and near the city.

ottimo soggiorno
Tutto bene,gestori molto gentili,cibo ottimo da gustare sotto il patio direttamenta sulla spiaggia,unica pecca il bagno della nostra stanza molto vecchio senza box doccia si allagava tutto ed era senza bidet,tutto il resto perfetto.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Aptera. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Uitstekende verzorging en hulp bij wat je maar nodig hebt. De espresso is heerlijk, ook lekker gegeten van ontbijt tot diner en prima geslapen op het dikke boxspring bed. Gratis ligbedden met parasol aan het strand. In de omgeving is ook restaurant Murelo een aanrader.

Friendly, clean small hotel with a filling of family atmosphere and great service! The fact that it is so close to Heraklion and has a great beach and dining on the beach makes it that much better for a great vacation. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Aptera Beach liegt in wunderschöner Lage direkt am Strand und das Flair ist ausgezeichnet. Anders als in viele Hotelketten kümmert sich das Personal und auch der Eigentümer sehr gut und umfangreich um die Gäste. Viele Gäste kommen schon seit mehreren Jahren in dieses Hotel und das zurecht!!! Das Frühstück ist super und mit vielen selbstgemachten Broten, Marmeladen usw. einfach herausragend. Der Eigentümer hat einen eigenen Garten und vieles an Obst und Gemüse aus diesem, findet man dann auch in den Speisen wieder. Sei es zum Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen. Hinzu kommt, dass man hier die griechische bzw. kretische Kultur viel besser kennenlernt, da man sowohl mit dem Eigentümer, als auch mit dem Peronal oft ins Gespräch kommt und so die Menschen dort und was Sie bewegt viel besser versteht. Man bekommt immer Tipps für abgelegene Strände, schöne Städte und kulinarische Besonderheiten. Die Zimmer sind alle sauber, mit kleinem Balkon, Fernseher und Internet ausgestattet, sodass man auch dort seinen Abend enspannt ausklingen lassen kann. Insgesamt ein fantastischer Aufenthalt mit tollen Stränden, vielen kulturellen Highlights, interessanten und sehr netten Menschen (Innerhalb und ausserhalb des Hotels) und somit der beste Platz um einfach mal den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen. Meine Frau und ich können das Hotel, die Lage, das Personal und den Eigentümer nur wärmsten empfehlen, denn so lernt man Kreta nochmal auf eine ganz andere Art kennen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

LIKED IT A LOT!
I liked the relaxed attitude of the owner! No pressure at all. Check-in happened in a second, even I had to pay some extra for late check-out. The place is really on the beach and the beach is even great and sandy! restaurant is okay and serves very fast. Parking is just at the front of the hotel Lovely place!

Amazing stay
Hotel location as describe by Hotel.com was in front of the beach, have their own bar and restaurant. Food was good. Plenty of other restaurants and bars around, but almost everyday we eat and drinks at Aptera hotel. Visilius, Christop, and their staff members were very helpful, polite and friendly.

Wonderful stay at the Aptera hotel in Crete. Really friendly staff and the food at the restaurant was delicious!!!! Definitely recommend your stay at the Aptera Beach Hotel!

Highly recommended and good value
We are a couple with one 14-year-old daughter and we stayed for two nights. The room was spacious and the layout provided our daughter with a little privacy. The manager/owner and the staff were very polite and accommodating. The location is ideal for Heraklion airport, Heraklion centre, beach and local restaurants.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Close proximity to beach. Generous room size and comfortable bed but my en suite facility was small and in need of some repairs and updating. Having said that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would be very happy to return in the future. Very good value.

Good location, on the beach, quiet, clean, friendly staff. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. Good breakfast. Aptera restaurant offers good quality food right on the beach. No wonder many people are coming back to Aptera year after year.

Das Zimmer war, für 2 Sterne, gut (Bett, Tisch, Klimaanlage). Jedoch sollte das Badezimmer dringend renoviert werden, u.a. keine Halterung um Handbrause als Dusche zu verwenden, defekte / fehlende Umstellung für Handbrause (nur mit technischen Geschick nutzbar).

They asked us to pay 2.5 for each beach towel, and the beach in front of the hotel didn't have any free beach chairs so we couldn't even sit there. You could not get wifi signal in the room unless you were on the balcony. The room is very bare, but it was decent.

Thank you for your reservation but we would like to inform you that we have 25 umbrellas and 65 sunbeds that we provide for free to our guests. Also we have to tell you that nowhere in our sites says that we provide free beach towels

The property overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the view is breathtaking, the staff could not have been more helpful and they treat you like family. This is my second time staying at Aptera and I will return because the service is excellent, the food is superb and the location is very convenient for going down town Heraklion and surrounding areas. There is always plenty of parking as well.

We had the most wonderful time, we truly loved every minute of it. People at the hotel are the most kind , we felt at home. The beach is amazing, the food was so great we hardly ever wanted to go eat else where. Loved the hotel. We will definitely go back in heart beat

Nice large room
Nice room, good air conditioner. Nearby parking. Great beach and free lounge chairs for guests. Hot water for showers was hit and miss, mostly miss for me but wife and daughter claimed to have got some. Limited menu selection but other nearby hotels have you covered.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr angenehm. Die Ausstattung für einen Strandurlaub völlig ausreichend. Es wurde täglich gereinigt und frische Handtücher gebracht. Da unser Flug zurück erst abends ging und das Zimmer nicht am gleichen Tag nachbesetzt wurde, durften wir bis Abends entgeltlos das Zimmer nutzen. Der Hotelinhaber war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Nice Hotel on the beach,
Nice clean Hotel very quiet and peaceful, easy to to to the town by bus and 10 minutes brought you to the main road, where there were bars lots of shops and places to eat.

Familiengeführtes Hotel am Strand
Aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen haben wir dieses Hotel gebucht. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Inhaberfamilie kümmert sich sehr engagiert um das Wohl der Gäste. Wir - eine fünfköpfige Familie - haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer für zwei Wochen ohne Verpflegung. Das Frühstück haben wir problemlos für zwei Wochen vor Ort dazu gebucht und auch das Hotelrestaurant direkt am Strand gerne genutzt.
