Wonderful place! Excellent service!
Santorini is truly magnificent and breathtaking place! This property is a hidden gem and great find and very safe place to stay with young kids (A lot of the places in Santorini are by cliffside which is not ideal for kids). Moreover we had a wonderful welcome and service by the property manager Francesca. We have no words to praise as he received us from airport and had a welcome basket with essentials at the start of our stay. He is very humble person and helped us with rides to Fira and Oia as we didn't rent a car. Property is very spacious and equipped with all the basic necessities. This will be very memorable in our life for a long time and felt like home for 4 days. We have never come across such a nice property manager. This place and Francesca deserved more than 5 stars!!!

The personal touches that Francesco, the concierge provided. From driving us the town and picking us up, to arranging a rental car. Daily service was also very much appreciated by Alexandria. Also having a well equipped kitchen and getting coffee pods to last us the whole week. I would definitely stay there on our next trip to Santorini. Oh and having our own pool was truly a treat!

Amazing family stay!
Family Holiday to Santorini! Couldn’t ask for more friendly helpful hosts Alex and Francesco were amazing, they take pride in their work and nothing is to much trouble. Alex and Francesco are available on WhatsApp throughout your stay. They sent us restaurant recommendations, things to do on the island, and anything we requested. I was a little nervous travelling to Santorini with 3 children as I was always under the impression Santorini was aimed at couples. Katharos Pool Villas is the place to stay and perfect for families. Based at the top of Ammoudi bay (great for swimming in the sea and a little cliff jumping for dad and eldest son). We had hired a car for the week but If staying local in Oia we really wouldn’t of needed it. Alex offered lifts into the town, but again only took 15 minutes to walk to the Caldera. The famous sunset is amazing and can be seen from the Villa. Everywhere is just so picturesque. To add on arrival in our villa was a welcome good and drink hamper which was much appreciated. There is even a smartphone with local SIM card in your room which makes it easier to make restaurant reservations during your stay, my personal phone struggled to connect to local numbers despite area code. Thanks again Hope to return soon.

Very nice place to stay, very clean, staff is very very friendly, they received us with fresh fruit, the kitchen was ready to be use, we cooked some breakfast there with all ingredients provided by them. The staff was always available for us, any question we had they always helped us, my mom was so happy there. ❤️ thank you

Excellent stay! Location is 10/10 with incredible views, very quite to be able to relax and distress and about a 10-15 minute walk to Oia with all restaurants and anything else you may need. Alex and his brother went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay for about a week. They were responsive and anything we needed was answered/brought to us within a matter of minutes! Pool is deep and super warm, rooms are spacious and very clean offering a very comfortable bed plus 2 full bathrooms with a strong hot shower! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Property is very beautiful and very clean. We were very warmly welcomed with handfull of inclusive fruits and drinks and food in fridge. It was also very nice to see baby crib to be there for our small one. Cons were that 3 out of 3 times I went to reception desk. There was no one there. Construction work around property made it unpleasing when enjoying pool outside or having breakfast. Also garbage dump station on the way to property is not very pleasing, I know some of these things are outside of owners hands to improve or change. Overall we had a very good time. Thank you!

The villa was very nice and the pool is always nice and warm. We definitely recommend you come here if you want a nice relaxing holiday. Also for the kids there is an incredible electric scooter. Safe for all ages. You must come there. Also the view is amazing. The people are also very nice. You have to come here! By kids

This villa was lovely! Everything was perfect and the owners are so lovely and helpful. They even gave us a lift in to town. You can walk to Ammoudi bay within 10 minutes, beach and main town within 15minutes. It's perfect and we loved our stay.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and had everything we need to be comfortable. The owner is extremely nice and really looked out for us and went above and beyond. He even woke up at 4am just to tell us good bye when we checked out!

My husband & I stayed there last week and couldn't have been happier. We prefer smaller villas/hotels. Alex & Francesca could not have been more accommodating. The property was in an ideal location, walking distance from town (Oia, Santarini) but far enough that it was quiet. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Luxury Villa w/ private pool
I stayed here a week with a young baby and my wife. These villas are stunning, each with a private pool. The service at this hotel is excellent - Francesco was able to help us with every single request, however big or small. I 100% recommended this place and cannot wait to come back.

Francisco, His brother and Angela were all amazing hosts. They arranged transport, food, and provided recommendations on beaches and sights. The villas were large, clean, and within walking distance of everything in Oia. Would definitely stay here again!

Service my family received was 1st class from the moment we arrived at Katharos Villas. The facilities there are very good. The property itself is slightly outside of Oia and involves a 10 minute uphill scenic walk but this shouldn’t put anyone off - we were able to manage the walk easily with children aged 6 and 4 and on a couple of occasions Francesco very kindly gave us a lift. There are other nice touches such as the welcome basket, bottled water and fresh fruit. Overall Katharos Villas is excellent value for money and was ideal for families.

Perplexed by the ratings.
We booked to stay at Katheros after reading so many glowing reviews. What the reviews don't say is that the villas are not on the water and have views of the ocean obstructed by buildings across the road and telephone poles. We would have rather stayed in Oia or at a higher elevation as Santorini is all about the views. And for the price, at C$850 per night, my expectations were high that this would be a luxurious place, which it was not.

Our stay was perfect. The villas are tranquil, serene, relaxing - ocean view, beautiful pool, patio and rooms, well Equipped Kitchen and an amazing host - Francesco was a wonderful host and made Sure we had everything we needed. Loved the daily fruit plates brought to you while you hang out by the pool. The villas are a 15 Minute walk to the town of Oia. Our stay was perfect.

Great location. Close enough to walk into Oia but away from the crowds. Also close enough to walk to Ammoudi Bay where we enjoyed several great seafood restaurants and took a Catamaran sailboat trip. Francesco at Katharos Villas was great and looked after all of our needs.

5 stars isn't enough to rate this beautiful place!! Katharos Villas is the place to stay when coming to Santorini! Francesco the owner is a real gem, making you feel part of the family at all time. He is Very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, anything you need Francesco is there to assist with a smile. The Villas are very clean, comfortable bed and includes all the amenities to make your stay wonderful. Private pool is cleaned each day!! Angela will come every day to replenish your fridge for next day breakfast. She's really amazing and works very hard! Villas are very well situated close to Ammoudi Bay and the Oia village with all the nice restaurants, bars and shops. It's a beautiful place to be and can't wait to be back to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary!! Thank you Francesco and Angela for this memorable experience Valerie & Freddy

Wonderful
Read the great reviews and had high hopes. Our stay at Katharos Villas was nothing short of amazing and exceeded all hopes and expectations. We had some dealings with our wonderful hosts, notably Francesco, before arrival and were relieved to have timely and extremely helpful responses. After our arrival and throughout our stay, we were treated like royalty - nothing was too much trouble but everything was dealt with in a calm, sophisticated, professional way. This is a chic, classy place to stay and the hosts are a huge part of that. We were a party of 5.

Very nice location. One of the largest suites in Oia . Alessandro & franscesco very helpful, helped us with dietary needs, provided transportation as well as airport service. Highly recommended specially if u have young kids & need space. Amoudi bay & katharos beach close by

Spacious, quite, amazing customer service.
We had a great experience, the owner and his family took care of us like family. We were a large group and had all the rooms in the villa, they did free laundry for us. It was really unexpected. It was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic, quiet, comfortable.
This place is ideal for any type of vacation, family or couples or whomever. The staff goes above and beyond and can help you arrange anything. The facilities are great. Katharos beach feels like a private beach. The taverna at the beach is all vegetarian with fantastic cocktails. The walk to town is 10-15 minutes uphill, might be long for some but worth it.

The visit to Katharos villas was wonderful. Located on the northern tip of Santorini, the setting is peaceful and serene. The hotel is family owned and Francisco the owner is on site and makes for an incredible experience. He greets u at the entrance carrying your bags and does EVERYTHING to ensure your relaxation. The place is well stocked and provides wonderful breakfast and lunch items to consume Located a 15 minute walk from Ammoudi bay as this is a critical location for the best seafood on the island. I could not recommend this more highly.

Exceptional stay at Katharos Villas!
Wonderful stay at Katharos Villas! They go way above and beyond the normal standard of service and hospitality. Alessandro and Francesco were the nicest, kindest, and most helpful people I've ever met. They treated me and my wife like family. Me and my wife were there on our Babymoon trip and first off, they arranged a complimentary ride to pick us up from the airport at 12:30AM and Alessandro met us at 1AM when we arrived to welcome us. We were so impressed with them from the start. On our first day there my wife suffered some trauma to her eye and Alessandro dropped everything and rushed us to a doctor in town. The next morning, he drove us all the way to the hospital to look for an opthamologist which they didn't have there so he went with us to 2 other clinics until we finally found one. We are eternally grateful for them for their kindness and help in our time of need! They arranged transportation and an ATV rental for us. We didn't have to lift a finger and they took care of everything. They served us welcome drinks and had the fridge stocked with drinks and other food items for us to use while we were there. The villa is spacious and the private pool was awesome and fun to relax in, just a little chilly, but Alessandro told me they would be getting heaters for the pools in the future. Everything was clean, well taken care of and comfortable. It was an amazing vacation even with our medical emergency and we can't wait to return to Katharos Villas!

완전 만족했어요~
후기가 많이 없어서 걱정하고 갔는데 너무너무 만족했어요~ 일단 숙소가 2명이서 사용하기에 넓었고 화장실도 2개였어요~ 각 방마다 작은 풀이 하나씩 있어서 좋았고 이아 마을 광장까지 걸어서 10분~15분 정도 걸렸어요~ 이아마을 갈때마다 걸어 다녔고 공항에서 숙소 이동은 픽업 신청해서 이용했어요~ 아침 조식도 체크리스트에 먹고 싶은거 체크해서 주면 그대로 준비해주고 점심쯤에 투어 차량 기다리면서 쉬고 있는데 주인 아주머니께서 직접 구운 호두파이라고 따뜻할때 먹으라며 주셔서 너무 맛있게 먹었어요~ 4인 가족이 이용하기에 더욱 좋을것 같고 2인 커플이 이용하기에는 넓직하니 더 좋네요~ 호텔보다는 풀빌라펜션같은 느낌인데 전체적으로 깔끔하고 룸도 아늑하니 너무 좋았어요~ 가스렌지와 각종 식기들이 준비되어 있어서 가족끼리 와서 요리 해먹고 쉬기 좋을것 같아요! 그리고 홈페이지에 나와있는 사진과 똑같으니 사진은 첨부하지 않을게요~

The staff are wonderful. Family operated hotel with warm welcoming hospitality! Very close to heart of city Oia and the Bay. Would definitely stay there again! Easily accommodates a family with two bath rooms and multiple sleeping areas. Private pool for each unit.

Dream holiday - will definitely go back!
Katharos villas was the best choice we could have made when booked our stay in Santorini. Location is perfect as very close to the gem of Ammoudi Bay and Kataros Lounge.. and only 10 minutes walking from the famous windmill of Oia. Alessandro and Francesco made a great difference in our holiday as they made us feel immediately at home as soon as we arrived. It's great to meet such genuine people in a touristic place like Santorini. Villas were great - amazing terrace with sea view.. private pool was great.. and it was a very peaceful corner where you can actually relax and enjoy your stay. Oia is great but too crowded.. Katharos gave us the opportunity to enjoy the views of Oia but go back home in a quiet, friendly and top class villas. Will recommend to anyone I know to book at Katharos as it really impacted our experience in Santorini! Thank you again!

Modern Clean villas with great Staff
Superb modern villas 10 minutes walk outside the busy centre of Oia. Staff are excellent from the cleaning lady to the guys who run the place. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Always around the place to say hi and make you stay the best it can be. Breakfast is provided to make at your own leisure. A bit like a catered apartment. Villas are immaculate with excellent air conditioning and two bathrooms with excellent showers. Weather was over 30 degrees when we were there so didn't fancy the hill into Oia but the hotel are happy to arrange a taxi for 10euro which I thought wasn't value for money rather than arrive covered in sweat for your evening out. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great stay

Friendly and Helpful Owners and Staff
We stayed 8 nights in these spacious and clean villas. It was only a 10 minute walk to Oia center, but is uphill. We often ordered a taxi (10 euro to town) as it was very hot and humid during the week we were in Santorini. The villa owners, Allessandro and Francesco, were wonderful! They helped us book taxis, tours and answered all our questions. They kept saying that "they work for us" and didn't seem to mind all our questions and requests. The staff cleaning lady was also very friendly and helpful. The refrigerator is stocked daily with breakfast items that you choose including eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juice and milk. Katharos Beach is a short 5-10 minute walk down the road, but the beach is rocky so highly recommend taking water shoes to enjoy. Katharos Lounge sits above the beach which had great food and a wonderful view of the sunset! Through the owners, we booked a sunset Santorini Wine Adventure tour which was one the favorite things we did in Santorini! Pick up was at the villa and included 3 wineries with wine tastings and ended with a beautiful sunset view at the last winery. We also booked a Sunset Oia boat sunset tour which was 6 hours around the island and volcano. Only negative was we were one of the first pick ups and did not realize the tour departed on the other side of the island -- took about 2 hours from hotel pick up to boat boarding on a bus with little or no air conditioning. Once on the boat, it was great!

Excellent little property. Would hi recommend!!
This is a great little property within a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Oia town or less than 10 mins from Ammoudi Bay. The little beach just down the hill a short walk away is also lovely and one of the better ones we visited including driving to others! We had kids and having the extra space to put the kids to sleep downstairs and then enjoy some wine upstairs or on the patio was lovely! The set up was perfect for us!
