Piccolo albergo nella zona pedonale di Chania
Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo una sola notte. Senza ascensore. Abbiamo dovuto trascinarci pesanti valigie per tre piani. La proprietaria è molto cortese e prepara ottime crêpes con nutella e biscotti per colazione

As we have mentioned many times before, the hotel is housed on a building from the 14th century, so the add of an elevator is impossible without the Archeological Service's approval. Ottimo hotel nel cuore di Chania
Palazzo storico veneziano nel centro di Chania, arredato con mobili classici e ben tenuto. Presente solo una scala a chiocciola, no ascensore. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Possibilità di fare la colazione. Dall'ultimo piano alcune camere godono di una bella vista del porto. Consigliato!

Relaxing stay in the hearth of Chania Old Town
A very pleasant stay, with hearty and kind staff, very good breakfast with fresh orange juice squeezed on the spot every morning, and home-made products (loved the cakes!). Strategic location in Chania old town, two steps away from the old Venetian port.

Soggiorno indimenticabile! Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato 11 notti in questo albergo. La sistemazione è stata totalmente ottimale, l'albergo è posizionato in zona storica ad 1 minuto dal porto antico di Chania. L'abergo è stato ristrutturato da poco ed ha il sapore piacevolmente antico, con mobilio di ottima qualità ed arredi che si intonano perfettamente all'antica edilizia della struttura. Colazione a buffet con molta varietà e spremute di frutta fatte al momento dalle solerti signore che gestiscono la struttura. Conviene fare colazione in albergo (dalle 8:00 alle 10:30), data la qualità e comparandola con quella offerta dai bar locali nelle vicinanze. Le camera sono pulite ed accoglienti, nella struttura ve ne sono 10 abbastanza spaziose, il bagno in camera è ottimo. Le signore Roula (mattina) ed Athina (pomeriggio e sera) sono gentilissime e disponibili e forniscono suggerimenti utili, se possibile, alle richieste fatte. L'atmosfera è calda e familiare ed è stato un vero dispiacere terminare la vacanza. Purtroppo, data l'antichità della struttura e della zona in generale, la nostra camera (la n.7) era situata al terzo ed ultimo piano ed occorreva fare una scala molto bella in legno di circa 64 gradini alti, non esiste l'ascensore, quindi chiedere sempre in caso di presenza di situazioni di disabilità, di persone anziane o sovrappeso, potrebbe essere un problema. Moltissimi ristoranti a prezzi ridotti si trovano nelle vicinanze e comodamente raggiungibili a piedi

Posizione centrale, staff gentilissimo, camera confortevole e pulita. Bagno pulito e vivibile. Sicuramente consigliato. Uniche due pecche : non c'è ascensore (la nostra camera al terzo piano) e condizionatore un po' rumoroso.

Nel complesso consigliato. .
Hotel in un vicolo tranquillo del centro storico di chania, quindi molto comodo anche rispetto al parcheggio pubblico. Hotel è sicuramente superiore rispetto alla media greca e il personale è gentilissimo. A noi hanno lasciato la camera fino alle 16 visto che avevamo il volo alle 20 permettendoci così di farci una doccia dopo un'altra giornata di mare. Unici difetti il materasso durissimo, l'assenza di spazio esterno dove poter stendere gli asciugamani (provate a chiedere se c'è un terrazzo) e l'illuminazione a giorno anche di notte della stanza. Avevamo 10 finestre più quella sulle scale e se ne poteva oscurare solo 5. Se avessi voluto il buio totale per dormire era impossibile. La colazione come prezzo era conveniente ma noi l'abbiamo fatta fuori spendendo poco meno e altre volte di più.

Excellent hotel! Loved the whole thing. Very friendly staff, great service. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is like homemade. The location is perfect and you can walk around the historic center within minutes. Will definitely stay there again.

We loved the location, staff and breakfast buffet was pretty good. The downside is that there is no elevator which means a lot of stairs. So beware if you have trouble climbing steps. Also, the bed was super uncomfortable because the mattress was very hard. Views were great and the area is safe.

Fantastisk vistelse och underbar service! Har perfekt läge i Chania! Personalen fick oss att känna oss hemma och frukost va någorlunda bra för oss som är vegetarianer men fanns massor att välja mellan om man är allätare. Nackdelen är den obekväma sängen som är stenhård och AC’n som man inte kan reglera och som stänger av och på sig hela tiden och som är extremt högljudd. Vi hade svårt att sova för det blev så varmt och AC’n gjorde det ännu jobbigare

My wife and I got a marvelous time in this hotel. Location is premiere, right at the heart of Chania old port. Room was great and clean with a great view of the port. Breakfast was fantastic. And the most important was that we felt like at home!! We fully recommend the Porto del Colombo hotel in Chania!

Cute and quaint hotel in the heart of Chania
We had a lovely stay at Porto del Colombo! It’s such a quaint little hotel with windy stairs - but yet fully equipped and airconditioned rooms right at the centre of Chania. Just a two minute walk takes you to the beautiful port. The staff was so sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay!

A gem! Wonderful staff, excellent location, bountiful breakfast. Eva, Rula and Visilikis were all delightful and very helpful. They even carried my heavy bag up three flights of stairs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Porto Del Colombo is an historic building in the heart of the Old Town. Each room is different and some rooms have a mezzanine type level containing bed and settee. The dining room is in the basement but is full of character and has a door leading out on to the footpath outside. A truly different Hotel!

Très bel hôtel très bien situé - mais accessible uniquement à pieds (au coeur de la vieille ville...), prévoir des valises pas trop lourdes. Personnel adorable qui nous a même préparé un petit pic-nique car nous allions à Samaria un matin et n'allions pas prendre notre petit déjeuner.

Great location in Chania, nice room (room 6) although it is on the 3rd floor and the hotel has no lift, everyone very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, freshly squeezed orange to start with, cereal, eggs & bacon, cakes etc. Would definitely stay here again
