“An excellent location for a walking weekend. Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy. Check in was good with a friendly welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. You cloud hear the owl in the woods at night it was such a peaceful location. We had a wonderful evening meal, a little more than we might pay at home but it was beautifully cooked and value for money. Breakfast was equally delicious. I had the superfood breakfast. “We went midweek in july 2025. Plenty of on street parking, with a blue badge is free. Nice shopping street, a stones throw from the sea front and beach and the station. For steam trains. Hotel was lovely, renovated, very nicely done. We booked deluxe double, it was very big, really lovely, sea front , perfect. Minehead is close to the moor, short drive up to viewing points.
