“Very affordable and comfortable”

“The Toowoomba Motel is okay for an overnight stay. It's in a quiet location and close to cafes and a petrol station. I arrived to find the bins in the room full. I also found the mattress and pillows to be too firm for me, but the linen was good. The tv stations were all pixelated. The staff were friendly and check in and out hassle-free.”

“The plumping needs fixing. The shower squeals and has very little pressure, the hot tap in kitchen needs a new washer. The pillow situation is strange, they are two in one and super thick, and no spares for us side sleepers! The single bed is completely bowed in the middle. The kitchen was great but I still wouldn’t stay again. ”

“Property was ok. Renovations being done. No restaurant and A/C heater had issues. Little overpriced given all this was happening in the background. ”

“Talk about value for money: The room was impeccably clean. (Shout out to the cleaning staff) The bedding (in some regards, the most important article) was crisp and clean and of pretty damn good quality. The minibar of cleansing products was abundant! (Travellers: stop raiding the free stuff so we can continue to have them) Now, I know the boarding facilities offers but a small increase to the overall income but you seemed to go way beyond to make it equally important as the food and pokies....

“The manager was extremely helpful with accommodating us after we were forced to abandon our booking at another fleabag establishment that would've been rated as disgusting in a 3rd world country. We were booked and had the key inside 20 minutes of making last minute phone calls to find another room, not an easy task during school holidays. The manager took the time to offer an inspection of the room which proved to be extremely neat and tidy and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable...

“Reception still open even though I was an hour late due to loss of GPS and roadworks on the motorway bypass.”
