“We had a wonderful stay at Moose Lane cabin in Maine! The cabin was clean, cozy, and very well maintained. The location was peaceful and beautiful, and the view was absolutely stunning. Moosehead Lake is right in front of the cabin, which made our mornings and evenings especially relaxing. Everything we needed was provided, and the host was friendly and responsive. “I booked a unit which has a loft and they moved me to a smaller one without ever telling me. So, someone had to sleep on the futon which was disgusting and so uncomfortable it’s not suitable for sleeping (needs a new mattress). There were no sheets for it either. The place was relatively clean except for REALLY gross carpet and one thing that is inexcusable. There was rat poop in the silverware drawer and in the pots/pans. The back deck is fantastic but I would still never stay here again!”

“The cabin is really nice with fantastic views. The cabin faces west over Moosehead Lake setting itself up for amazing sunsets. Our only complaint about the place was the downstairs bed is extra firm and we both found it very uncomfortable. Other than that, the description of the place was very accurate and we certainly enjoyed our brief visit.”

“We did enjoy some aspects of our stay, but would never do a return visit to this cabin. First off the keyless entry did not work, couldn’t lock the door and a maintenance man had to come out to repair.The views were stunning and property location was ideal. The worst was the bathroom, the toilet is way to low, and the bath/shower/jacuzzis is an accident waiting to happen. Floor of bath is slippery as heck. “This cabin, from day 1 until our departure was so peaceful and quiet. Definitely great for relaxing. We explored the area during the day and returned to the cabin in the evening for relaxation. The hostess/host were so gracious and very responsive to our needs. If you choose to stay at this cabin, you will not regret it! Also Pet Friendly which was a huge plus!!”
