“A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. ”

“What a special place! Close to everything but tucked away at the end of a private road. The view is beautiful and it’s a very private and peaceful setting. Our dogs loved it and we really appreciate the gates around the deck for them. And the addition of fall mums around the property was such a nice touch! Chris the host couldn’t have been nicer. “More then met my expectations! Pictures cannot show how beautiful this cabin and its grounds are! I arrived about 7:00 pm - just past sunset and when I went into the house a preachy-golden glow was coming through the large windows that face the bay. The paths that led to the other two cabins - which are a good distance away so we all have our privacy - were lit with lovely lights. The entire impression was of ferry lights and my dog and I walked on the trails and saw the other cabins. Any...

“This was the perfect place for an anniversary trip. The weather was great for swimming, kayaking, and hiking nearby trails. We enjoyed the rope swing on one of the mini islands in the pond. The cabin itself was clean and cozy. It got a little chilly at night, but the loft stayed relatively warm and there were space heaters on the lower level. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Maine!”

“The cabins were clean and cozy. Convenient to store and restaurants. Price was reasonable. I will say, the showers are a bit strange with the controls outside the shower itself, also no barrier to keep water in the shower. But the heat lamps in the bathroom were wonderful after returning from a COLD ride!! Would definitely stay again.”

“ Try nice home about three miles from the paved road with access to beautiful Moosehead Lake. Very new and very clean. Kitchen is lacking some larger pots. ”

“This was a great place to stay especially for couples. The pond is very nice with kayaks and canoes available. A fire pit and hot tub at every cabin. The site manager is great and readily available if needed. Will definitely be going back to pond and pine. ”

“Very comfortable and cozy. I was there with my dog and we enjoyed our stay although it was cut short I would definetly rent again. I highly recommend this host if looking for a quiet retreat from the busy world. Extremely nice people to do business with. Thanks again for the nice stay.”

“This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. It was very clean and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed seashell hunting at the private beach! We spent a lot of time at Acadia National Park and towns around there, all less than an hour away. We would definitely stay again if in the area!”

"La camera viene rifatta solo se richiesto, al check-in non siamo stati informati pertanto quando siamo rientrati era ancora in disordine. Le stanze sono datate, mobili con segni di usura, aria condizionata e frigo rumorosi. La colazione è per lo più fatta con alimenti confezionati “non buoni”, i muffin freschi sono l’unica cosa mangiabile anche se industriali. Per arrivare in centro sono necessari 5 minuti di macchina, 20/25 a piedi, la struttura è alla periferia di Bar Harbor. Onestamente per il prezzo di circa $380 al giorno ho trovato il servizio e la struttura scadenti."

"Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort."
