“Perfect place to stay!”

“The Graduate is very charming and I had a special room with a view and a fireplace! But it comes with all the charm of a boutique hotel, like a slow elevator (and only one small elevator), so don't expect the perks and efficiency of a franchise hotel. But I still prefer it and it feels more like home. I'll stay there again when I'm in Evanston!”

“Parking is feels safe and is easy. Room rates were pricey considering the overall condition of the building. Only a single elevator was in operation during our stay so waits were long. The hotel in general is fine but could use some updating.”

“We had stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it was incredibly worn and the service was poor at best-and I swore I would never go back. I learned they had updated the hotel -so I figured I would give it another chance- as there are so few options in Evanston during parents weekend etc. Unfortunately, it was just like putting lipstick on a pig- maybe they painted and got new bedding but it is still old and dilapidated - the bathrooms are yucky. The service was fine and we did like they have...

“Great place and neighborhood to stay. Walked everywhere, including to the beach. The room had everything I needed. Fresh coffee and breakfast items steps from my room in the morning. Will stay again. ”

“I enjoyed how the property was kind of tucked away in the back, nice and quiet. Clean bathroom. Comfy bed. Close to my family in Morton grove with the benefit of also being near the city ”

“Yes, the room was clean but in the hallway there was a terrible smell close to a specific room; it was a smell of decomposing trash. We stayed from April 28th thru May 9th.”

“Ok for the price but looks a bit runned down. My room didn’t have hot water so I had to bathe with a cold wet towel”

“They require a large cash or Venmo deposit which is shady. Took them 2 weeks to send it back minus 15$ to which I got no response to why. Communication sucks and they gave me the wrong room. No apology no adjustment. Nothing.”
