“It’s too damn cold in there!! They need to learn how to regulate the air conditioning. We were also staying two nites at the Dunes two weeks ago and it was horribly cold. Six of us froze during our stay. Speaking to others they all said the same thing…too cold! It’s summer.. we want to wear summer clothes in the summertime but it’s necessary to wear winter clothes. Not looking forward to going in there to freeze. People reading this…bringing your winter clothes.”

“I gave this hotel of five star review mainly due to the staff and owners who are absolutely outstanding in their customer service! We did encounter issues that were dealt with immediately. The only suggestion we can make is it does need some updates but for the price it was a great Value!
The full breakfast was amazing as well as the people serving it. If you're looking for a very economical place to stay that's quiet and you're treated like royalty this is your place.”

“It's not the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it had its issues. One of the two lightbulbs was burned out and not replaced. I get that the maintenance crew had left by the time I reported the issue, but it would have been nice to have it working for Saturday night.
None of the power outlets were convenient to the desk, which was so wobbly as to be nearly unusable as such. Other furnishings showed their age, but that was cosmetic and didn't bother me.
As for the room, it was nice and spacious,...

“The only thing that made me take away my 5th star would be that the first night we came in late and the sheets smelled horrible so we slept with only the top decorative sheet. The next day we told staff and they took care of it. Other than that, room was good and check-in and out was easy.”
