We had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, well-equipped, and the staff were generally polite and helpful. The resort is beautifully located and well-maintained, offering wonderful views and a peaceful atmosphere.
However, we experienced several issues that impacted our stay. The roof in our villa was leaking, and despite reporting it twice, it took two days before anyone came to wipe the kitchen floor. The refrigerator was also leaking inside. In addition, the Wi-Fi was down for two days, and although it was eventually repaired, the air conditioning in the living room remained non-functional until the day we left, despite two service requests.
The manager initially offered us another villa with a noticeably worse view. When we declined, we were offered a $200 credit, which was later increased to $350. Unfortunately, this still felt insufficient considering that a single dinner for four at the resort costs around $400.
Overall, while we appreciated the beauty and atmosphere of the property, issues of this scale should not occur in a resort of such prestige. A higher level of care and responsiveness from management would have made a significant difference in ensuring guest comfort.
