Cottage a Gruinard Island

“Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)”

“Easy to find the cottage on the banks of Gairloch, after our long journey from England. Super property, very clean and well laid out. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed and attractive lounge including a real fire and fabulous views out to Ben Eighe, Skye and the Outer Hebrides. TV worked ok and the central heating and washing machine were most welcome. You could walk down to the beach in a couple of minutes and be greeted by friendly ducks and geese!
