  • Situated on the top of a hill, immerced in the countryside of the region Umbria, the green heart of Italy, a hilltop stone house.
    4 double bedrooms,

    The main features are the outdoor facilities : pleanty of outdoor equipped space, wide porticos with lounge areas, pergolas with dining tables and BBQs; gazebos.

    Services, supermarkets, shops, restaurant and pizzerias are within 15 minutes drive. The strategic position is ideal for visiting the wonderful roman and medieval towns: Assisi, Todi, Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna, Orvieto, Gubbio, Deruta, Torgiano, Foligno, Marmore Waterfalls, Trasimeno Lake, Rome and Florence - stand within 2 hours drive.

Great holiday in a lovely area

We had a lovely holiday in a relaxing and quiet place in a wonderful countryside in Umbria. We stayed at the villa for the second time and enjoyed every day of our stay again

Traumlage, aber Abstriche bei Wohnung und Ausstattung

Dieses Objekt liegt wunderbar ruhig in einem Tal ohne Durchfahrtsstraße, sodass nichts den Ausblick auf die Olivenbäume und den Naturgenuss schmälert. Nichts dringt heran, alles schweigt. Den Pool teilten wir mit weiteren 5 Wohnungen, was dem Genuss aber keinen Abbruch tat, die Lage ist ein Traum. Die Ausstattung der Küche war lückenhaft, wir reklamierten mehreres, Mario hat sofort alles besorgt. Unsere Untergeschosswohnung war in den Hang hineingebaut, weshalb sie kühler war als andere, aber auch dunkler - Tageslichtfenster fehlen, Licht war vonnöten. Die Anfahrt zu Bäcker bzw. Supermarkt dauert rd. 12 - 15 Min. Zuletzt ist der Weg zum Haus ohne Asphalt: Der Schotterweg setzt jedem Auto zu.

Bellissimo casale

Abbiamo affittato il casale più grande dei due, per due notti a Capodanno. Villa molto grande divisa in 4 appartamenti indipendenti, che garantiscono privacy anche a gruppi numerosi. La zona esterna è ottima per pranzi e cene, attrezzata anche per bbq. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Assolutamente consigliata

Il paradiso in terra!

Siamo una famiglia di Brescia arrivati in questo splendido paradiso l'ultima settimana di maggio, con i nostri due bimbi di otto e dieci anni. A prima vista è stato amore, solo per il panorama e la posizione che si trova , tra vigneti e uliveti. La casa comodissima, con ogni comfort, la piscina e i giardini tenuti perfettamente. La posizione della casa è tattica e centrale per chi vuole visitare i bellissimi paesi dell'Umbria. Dopo aver visitato i paesi , si torna alla fresca quiete tra un bagno in piscina e una passeggiata tra gli ulivi. A poca distanza ci sono supermercati ben forniti e tutto quello che può servire. Insomma , non si può chiedere niente di più. Mario, il proprietario è una persona deliziosa e piacevolissima, sempre pronto per consigli e per far vivere al meglio la vacanza ai propri clienti . Sicuramente ci rivedremo ancora. Grazie di cuore! Ivan, Lara, Diego e Anita

This is a beautiful Umbrian villa located at the top of a stunning hill 50 minutes from Assisi, the famous Umbrian town, and about 10 minutes from Gualdo CAttaneo, a wonderful ancient Umbrian village which offers traditional restaurants and a small grocery shop. Along 1mile/1,5km of unpaved road you will reach the gated entrance of this fully fenced property surrounded by olive groves. Once through the gates you will find the house amongst landscaped gardens with beautiful olive and trees, lavender, potted plants and herbs for guests that enjoy using the kitchen. The house boasts a panoramic pool with stunning views of the valley. We enjoyned in particular dining under the portico with its amazing, uninterrupted views of the pool and valley. I love it!.

Located in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, villa Tilla offers the possibility to relax and at the same time to take advantage of its strategic location, visiting some of the most important cities of Umbria: Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco, Orvieto The villa has been recently built, with great taste and sense of aesthetic. impressive sensation of cleanliness and brightness. It is an intimate setting and the ideal place for vacation, family and friends reunions, private meetings or wedding celebrations. Within its 23 hectares of private property mainly with olive tress, it is a space that you are able to adapt to your needs, whether this be an exclusive group booking, or a private bed and breakfast getaway. In the property there is a 10 minutes walk pathway. I'll certainly come again!

exceptionally privileged position

We enjoyed fantastic holidays in this wonderful house, immersed in a large private estate only 15 minutes from the motorway. A long winding country road leads to this breathtakingly beautiful setting immersed among the estate's beautiful farmland, the view of medieval castels skyline on one side and lovely green sloping hills and valleys on the other, are truly unforgettable. Great care has been given to the cleaness and all the rooms are spacious and well furnished, the bathroom well-fitted. The lovely outdoor areas are perfect to relax and a barbecue is perfect to enjoy a memorable meal "al fresco". The owner is a real gentleman.

ideal place

The house has a combination of elements which makes it the ideal lace for the traveller who is ooking for hidden artistic treasues off the beaten track and for beautiful, green and unspoilt countryside. The property reveals marvellous natural landscapes, rich green hills and strong colours. The apartment is nice, clean and very comfortable. ..un rêve!

Inoubliable: le sentiment d'être suspendu dans une «bulle verte».. autour de la maison est une nature vivante et vierge, que vous régénère... La maison est une sorte de une oasis de fraîcheur pour se reposer après la chaleur de l'été. Je me souviens l'après-midi près de la piscine, la lecture, en profitant de la paix immense de ce lieu enchanteur.

BBEAUTIFUL!

We have stayed twice in this special place in the Umbrian hills, in two apartments in the main house. Lovely comfortable, clean and well appointed apartment surrounded by absolutely stunning scenery. It is a good central location for getting to other fascinating places around. The nearest place of interest is Gualdo Cattaneo which is quite small but it is a good spot from which to reach Assisi, Perugia, LAke Trasimeno,Montefalco, Spoleto, Spello, Orvieto, Rome, Florence. The views as you open the door and laying at the swimming pool make the experience worth it. There are some beautiful walks, plenty of space and things to do for the whole family, plenty of paths etc also local 'pets' to make friends with...In all a wonderful holiday.

Love nest is in a beautiful location, overlooking a wonderful valley. The property is very quiet and peaceful, well furnished with multiple seating area's indoor and outdoor, in shade and in the sun, well cared for gardens, ideal for families in that there are 2 bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room and all the beds are very comfortable and the linen and towels clean and in good condition. We could not fault the apartment in any way and would be delighted to return to the property.

I was here with a few friends and ...actually I can't say enough good things about our stay in this lovely place!. Delightful and picturesque place, surrounded by unspoilt nature. From the pool you have a wonderful view. The apartment was simply but beautifully furnished in a nice blend of classic and modern Italian styles: someone paid good attention to putting it all together, neither sparse nor fussy. The kitchen probably had everything needed.... but we only used the coffee maker!....It was very comfortable. It was just us, so it felt very private. Mario is a wonderful gentleman, with a sense of hospitality natural and spontaneous. He met us on arrival and departure. Very Helpful with places to see , mountain bike- routes and many other things, the surrounding area has many options for sightseeing. He also recommended restaurants/pizzerias near the house. I would love to visit again with my girlfriend...it was just so perfect! It was so nice to open the door and hear only the singing of the birds and admire the coloured valleys all around us!

I was there with a few friends during the Christmas holiday. We had a fantastic time!. The house was comfortable, simply and beautifully furnished. The hosts were fantastic . Very Helpful with places to see , mountain bike- routes and many other things; the surrounding area has many options for sightseeing. The best thing was to open the door and see the coloured unspoilt valleys and hear only the singing of the birds!. It was so picturesque and unforgettable, perfect for families and couples...looking forward to come again soon..next summer!.

Little bit of paradise

We stayed at Villa Mari for 2weeks. We are a family of 15 and we rented four of Mario’s 7 apartments. It worked especially well for us as it gave us our own space yet we were still able to eat and socialise together. The apartments were all ready for us when we arrived. It was very late but Mario and his lovely daughter Francesca waited for us until after midnight to settle us in. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If we needed anything or questions answered then Mario sorted/answered straight away. Each apartment has its own front patio and garden/bbq area. Also tables and chairs plus sun loungers to relax on. The pool area was big enough for all of us plus the other guests staying there. The view and surrounding area is breathtaking so don’t forget your camera. Quite rural so very tranquil. Also central for places to visit though. We caught a train to Rome, a tram to Florence and drove to Assisi, Pisa and Pompei. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will certainly be back in the future. Thank you Mario and Francesca, Debbie & family

perfect remote place for a relaxing holiday

The apartment is remote so very quiet. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. The owner is very nice and wil help with any questions you might have.A car is necessary otherwise you cannot reach the location. We had a perfect stay and you can reach all the sightseeing places in Umbrie.

Enironnement magnifique, idéal pour les amateurs de nature

La maison est situé dans un superbe environnement et les espaces extérieurs sont aménagés de façon à ce que l'on puisse en profiter (belle piscine , meubles de Jardin). l'intérieur mériterait d'avoir un peu plus de rangements (une commode et un meuble de cuisine supplémentaires seraient bienvenus) . La literie mériterait d'être rafraîchie. Nous avons pu visiter les villes (Assise, Pérouse, Spolète ) et les petits villages typiques. Il y a de quoi faire dans les environs (compter au moins un demi heure de route) . Accueil sympatique de Mario et Sylvia

Un site magnifique, un accueil chaleureux, un emplacement idéal pour visiter l'Ombrie.

Nous venons de passer deux semaines magnifiques dans un des appartements de Mario Stroppa. Le cadre est idyllique et la piscine est très agréable. Nous vous conseillons cet endroit proche des grandes villes ombriennes. Que de bons souvenirs !

Paradiso- a little slice of heaven

I can't speak highly enough of this amazing place! I came here with my husband and two little girls for 10 days and we didn't want to leave! The family who run it are so kind and helpful. Francesca even took us out for a drive to show us the local supermarkets and where a lovely village fete was happening. She and Mario could not have done more for us, such lovely people. The place is stunning, the views all around are breathataking and at night there is a cool breeze. The pool is beautiful and it is so relaxing to sit out and chill nearby. At night you have the stars, the song of crickets and a cool apartment to sleep in. I have stayed in many places over the years but this one we will come back to! A fabulous holiday- thanks so much!

A comfortable relaxing place in which to unwind. The views were stunning. It's a peaceful place.

Our holiday was definitely made by staying at this beautiful place. You can relax by the pool. Or outside your apartment you can have a meal and look at the stunning surrounding. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable. It had all we needed for our stay. This location was close to many places to visit. We went to Rome, loved Asissi and explored many more places of interest. From the moment we booked this apartment Mario helped us, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a very warm welcome he is a wonderful gentleman. Thank you Mario and your family for welcoming us too your apartment.
