Hello and welcome! Our names are Karla, Ana, and Gustavo and we are three siblings from right here in Guatemala City with a shared passion for travel, culture, and hospitality. As avid explorers of the world, we love bringing a piece of our beloved hometown to travelers like you. Our family’s apartment is located in a prime spot, just a short walk from the iconic and brand new Brunelo Apartments in the heart of Zona 10—one of the most vibrant and sought-after neighborhoods in Guatemala City. Excellent place to try Guatemalan cuisine. The Adobe restaurant provides live music
entertainment on the weekends where they play  “La Marimba”, our national instrument.

For all your grocery and convenience needs, La Torre supermarket offers a great selection of
fresh produce, local products, snacks, and beverages. It’s a handy place to stock up if you're
planning to cook or need everyday essentials.

House Rules
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask all guests to respect the following house rules:

1. No Smoking
For the comfort of all guests, smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Please feel free to smoke in designated outdoor areas. A $150 fee will be assessed if this rule is violated.

2. Quiet Hours
We value a peaceful environment. Please keep noise levels low from 10:00PM - 7:00AM to respect
the neighbors, especially in the evenings.

3. No Pets
While we love animals, we do not allow pets in the apartment to maintain a clean and allergen-free
space for all guests.

4. Check-In and Check-Out Times

o Check-in time is from 3:00 PM onwards.
o Check-out time is by 11:00 AM.

If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please reach out in advance, and we will
try to accommodate your request based on availability.

5. Maximum Occupancy
The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Please do not exceed the maximum
number of guests in the unit and all guests must be registered at the lobby.

6. Respect the Property
We ask that you treat the apartment with the same care and respect that you would your own home.Please clean up after yourself to a reasonable level and while a cleaning fee is included in your booking, an additional fee may be applied in the event of an excessive mess.

7. Amenities

8. Parties and Events
Parties, events, or large gatherings are not allowed. We strive to maintain a quiet and relaxed atmosphere for all of our guests.

9. Lost or Damaged Items
Guests will be responsible for any lost or damaged items during their stay. Please notify us immediately if anything is broken or missing. Unreported damages will incur in charges after check-out. 

10. Parking
On-site parking is available for (1) vehicle. Parking pass will be given at Brunelo Front Desk at check-in.

11. Safety and Security
For your safety, we have a doorbell camera installed at the common entrance. Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the apartment. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items during your stay.

12. Local Laws and Regulations
Please respect any and all applicable laws while in Guatemala and any illegal activities will result in
immediate termination of your stay and the police will be notified.

13. Key/Access
You will find them in an envelope when you enter the apartment. At the end of your stay,
Please return the cards to the same envelope and leave them in the reception area. In case of
loss, a fine of $40 will be charged for replacement per card.

Positive takes:Beautiful, modern buildingUnit was clean.Building staff was very friendly and helpfulAmenities all as shown. (we did not get into pool, not sure on temperature, but saw others enjoying it)Location, location. (10-15 mins from airport and other hot spots)Critiques:Host communication (Did answer all inquiries and make effort to resolve concerns but ! felt instructions for access to room were lacking critical detail and more information should've been provided for a smoother check-in.)Water not as shown in pic 18, the photo shows a regular bottled water dispenser and that was not present in unit. In its place was another product that was empty. I was unable to take some medications our first night because we arrived late and there was no water available in the room. Afterwards, talking to some local family we learned what it was and how to use it but by then we had already stocked up on bottled water.I feel the picture should be replaced and instructions provided for current water option.Overall the room was nice, i don't think we'd stay there again though because of the lack of AC. The weather is cool and fans are provided but it isn't quite enough for a comfortable stay.
