“I stayed at four different hotels in Guatemala City and the Hyatt Centric was by far the best. The hotel is brand new. Rooms are decorated with a super modern design. The swimming pool in the rooftop was fantastic: I could swim seriously since, unlike in many other hotels, the pool was really long. Breakfast was excellent and the service was super good. I will definitely come back. ”

“Very good hotel, in a quiet area of Guatemala City. The hotel room was actually a 2-bedroom + living room apartment full of space and with large and very comfortable beds. Very nice staff and common shared areas (pool, garden, breakfast room, etc) very well maintained.”

“Hotel muy grande con muchos huéspedes, estratégicamente situado, muy cerca del aeropuerto con servicio de transporte gratuito. El conductor del servicio de transporte al aeropuerto fue extremadamente amable y experto, ¡le daría 10/10 solo a él! Estructura bastante anticuada, que necesitaría una renovación completa, especialmente los baños! Pero es una estructura acogedora y hay un personal amable y profesional. El desayuno está bien. Piscina exterior climatizada y gimnasio disponibles.”

“Long story short:
1. Asked for large bed, got singles, when i asked to be changed there was no availability.
2. waken up by faulty AC, suddenly there was an available room with larger bed even.
3. another guest used their key card to open my room, while I was sleeping!!!! Why did her key card work? who knows.
4. The room was dirty and shower lost water into the bathroom.
On their defense, the hotel manager, made a huge effort to make our stay a,ittle better but the damage was done. ”

“Staff was incredibly welcoming and nice. Let us drop our bags early, and when we returned to check in, they had already put our bags in our room. They also took care of ordering a taxi for us to get to the airport at 3:00 a.m. with honest prices and right on time. It was a great stay at the end of an amazing adventure. ”

“The reception desk was so helpful. We arrived late, and the front desk gentleman went to the kitchen to find out what was available for us to have for dinner. The following morning, we had an early flight, and he packed our breakfast for us to take on the plane. We had a shuttle to pick us up and drop us off. It was 2 girls and we felt completely safe. ”
