Everyone needs some Away Time! This beautiful, unique 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is located in the popular Morgantown Community. It’s the perfect place to escape reality and make your vacation dreams come true! Away Time has plenty of space for guests to relax with a huge screened-in porch and a sunroom perfect for curling up and reading a book. Guests have access to two community pools, tennis courts, and multiple beach boardwalks. Staying at Away Time will be a treat for the whole family!!

About Away Time

Located in Fort Morgan’s beachfront community of Morgantown, Away Time is a coastal 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom beach home that offers guests the perfect opportunity to take it slow and enjoy a relaxing family vacation. This home is just a short walk from Morgantown’s 3 beach boardwalks for easy access to the beach. The nearest beach boardwalk is approximately 0.15 miles from the home, a short walk down the road. Also nearby, are the community’s 2 pools, tennis courts, a pickleball court, and a basketball goal. Morgantown even offers a kiddie pool for the little ones to enjoy splashing. After a day at the beach, guests can look forward to relaxing in comfort and style! Away Time offers ample outdoor space to enjoy from the large screened-in porch to the back porch overlooking the pond. An outdoor shower and charcoal grill can be found underneath the home. Take in the sunset and enjoy the gulf breezes!

Inside, the spacious home can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably. The main floor living area features a comfortable sectional, the perfect spot to cozy up and watch a movie. Off of the living area is the sunroom, equipped with a telescope to gaze at the stars and a day bed perfect for relaxing after a long day on the beach. The dining area offers seating for 4 at the table with an additional 4 at the bar. In the kitchen, guests can enjoy all the comforts of home while on vacation including small appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and ample counter space. 

Also on the main floor are 3 of the homes 4 bedrooms. The first master bedroom features a king-sized bed, a TV, and an attached bath. Bedroom 2 is also located on the main floor and features 2 twin beds and a TV. Bedroom 3 features a queen-sized bed and a TV. Bedrooms #2 and #3 will share the hall bath. Upstairs is the 2nd master which features a queen bed, a full-size bunk, a TV, and an attached bath.

About Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely residential community located in Fort Morgan. Guests staying in Morgantown will have access to two community swimming pools, four tennis courts, a pickleball court, a community basketball goal, and three boardwalks that provide direct access to the beach.

Fort Morgan
Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!
 
Rental Age Policy
We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy.
