For an older property this unit was in an excellent location, very spacious, close to the beach (some newer properties are set back more, nicely equipped (extra pillows and blankets, good amount of bath towels, lots of pots/pans/ etc), blinds or curtains on every window for better sleeping, clean pool and common areas. The smaller complex meant fewer people on their beach, fewer people at the pool and easy and adequate parking.The cons are small things but need to be noted: like all rental properties, the info says that you are given "starter" paper products, etc. but there was only a partial roll of tissue in the bathrooms, 1/2 bottle of dish soap, 1/2 bottle of hand soaps in bathrooms. The ice maker had no ice- we bought some then discovered later that it was just turned off. There were no pot holders, no stoppers in some of the tubs and sinks. We looked everywhere and never found the sheets for the sofa bed until the last day and they were in a very unlikely spot- in a basket in a cabinet containing the puzzles and books- be sure to look there!My only real complaint is that for 2 solid days there was roof work going on directly above our top floor unit- hammering, power tools and it was very aggravating when we wanted to take a "sun break/quiet time" as there was no quiet to be had...... I wish we had been advised of this construction issue ahead of time as it would have been a deal breaker- msg to owner but no reply.
