I would not recommend this unit. It is not being properly maintained. Our second day there, maintenance came to inform us there must be a leak because the unit under us has water coming through the ceiling. After a couple visits from him, he tells us the master toilet isn't sealed properly and is leaking every time we flush. He told us if we had to use that shower, to put some towels on the floor in case that was contributing to the problem. At the end of our week long stay, nothing had been done to the toilet. We did not use that bathroom at all because we didn't want any more visits from maintenance. They brought huge fans and dehumidifiers into the bedroom to dry out the carpet in the closet that was wet. The maintenance guy touched the baseboard and a chunk came off because the it was completely rotted, highlighting the fact that this is not a new issue and it should've been fixed long ago. This is a small ONE bedroom unit so i can't express how frustrating it was to have all of this going on in that bedroom/bathroom. When all this started, Bender Realty did say they would relocate us if we wanted, but would refund/compensate us if we chose to stay. Well, I should've known better. A few days after we left I finally reached out asking for my refund. They said, "sorry for the misunderstanding", and sent me a 20% "refund". Also, we found socks and candy wrappers in the unit our first day there so the cleaners were not thorough. I won't stay at a Bender property again.
