For a property listed as "pet friendly" there was really no place to let your dog out. Pictures on VRBO website misrepresented landscaping of the property. The landscaping was overgrown and unkept with lots of litter. And I know there is a nature preserve behind the property. I am specifically referring to the landscaping on the actual property. Ceiling above carport had fallen down at some point from water damage and insulation had collapsed. There was no mention of damage or current leak on Vrbo listing so it was a surprise to see it when we arrived. The icemaker in freezer was broken but there is a countertop ice maker. However, it is not adequate for the number of guests the house can hold. The kitchen is not adequately appointed with pots, pans, cooking utensils, or even drinking cups for a family who intends to use the kitchen during their stay. There are a plethora of coffee cups, though. The property needs to be maintained better. Water stains on ceilings throughout property, spider webs and general maintenance throughout the home were needed. Several chairs on the side screened porch are in need of removal. They are rusted and broken. The screens are damaged in several places so it doesn't prevent bugs from entering patio. On a positive note: The A/C and washer and dryer work well. There was plenty of sitting areas for a large family. All that said, I would not rent this property again for my family.
