We have been coming to the Fort Morgan area for 20 years. This was the cleanest, best maintained home we have ever used. The house has a gorgeous view and is just as pictured! We appreciated so many king bedrooms on the main level for our elderly family members! Plus the hosts were very accommodating and prompt. Just a perfect spot!

The Tortuga is incredible! We booked the house for our party of 15, including 9 children (6 teens!), because of the space! It far exceeded our expectations; we had plenty of room with extra room to spare! We loved the boardwalk straight to the beach! Fort Morgan is so much less congested than Gulf Shores, Destin, and 30A and to walk straight out of your house to the ocean and not compete for beach space is priceless! We enjoyed the back patio for morning coffee and evening drinks and could still enjoy a direct view of the ocean. The house was supplied well with paper goods, toiletries, and the kitchen was well stocked! Don't worry about bringing a beach chair because there are plenty to use! (That would have saved a lot of room in our car!) My 10 year-old wants everyone to know the bunk room is a kids' dream room! Nader communicated with us with every detail and made the process so easy to check-in and check-out! A bonus we found out, Wal-Mart will deliver groceries to the address, so we truly had an amazing, relaxing experience. We cannot rave enough about our stay

This property is beautiful and very comfortably accommodated our family. We love Fort Morgan because it isn't so crowded. Our vow renewal ceremony on the beach was perfect! What an exquisite setting! Nader and Tanya, the owners, were very attentive and responsive. We really felt they were delighted to host our family and made us feel most welcome.

We had a truly wonderful and perfect stay! The house was beautiful, the location was ideal, and the beach was peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and quick to respond—every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly. They also provided helpful local information that made our trip even smoother. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This rental was by far the cleanest home that we have rented. It was well supplied with extra blankets, extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher detergent, washing machine pods and more. Many games to play on rainy days or in the evenings. Awesome views and access to the beach. Excellent choice for any family.

Perfect beach! Privacy, clean sugar sand, clear shallow water for swimming & snorkeling & shelling, aquarium type experience. Encounters with turtles, stingrays, dolphins, fish, crabs, jelly fish, pelicans. Accommodation sized for large family, kid friendly, huge open concept kitchen-family gathering space with full wall ocean view.

We had a group of 16 people ranging from 13-73. We had the best time. The kitchen was well stocked to feed and cook a variety of meals. The house was very clean and updated. Overall- we loved our stay and cannot wait to go back!

The Tortuga was perfect for our family reunion! Our group consisted of 3 young children and 10 adults, traveling to Gulf Shores from 5 states. The kitchen was well appointed. Having a 2nd refrigerator was a huge convenience. The short walk to the beach made it easy for carrying our beach things from the house. Each bedroom was spacious, and the new king size beds were very comfortable. We repeatedly talked of how great the house/location was for us. The owners were fantastic!!! We will definitely keep The Tortuga at the top of our list for future trips!

We absolutely loved this house and the location. Being right on the beach was incredible. The location was peaceful without too many people on the beach and not too much traffic. The kitchen had everything we needed for multiple meals. Definitely recommend and hope to go back.

Loved the place from the minute we walked in! Beautiful long bar counter was wonderful for serving the whole family, and a straight view from the kitchen to the ocean. Love, love, loved the floor plan and layout! Every thing was so clean, and every possible thing you could need was there! Many things that are generally not provided & in amounts for the whole stay…shampoo, body wash, beach towels, laundry and dishwasher tabs, a cute little coffee bar complete with syrups and cups! (Consider a coffee grinder to make it complete, which we might have accidentally left🙃). I could go on… The kids loved the slide, game and bunk room! Owners were very easy to work with, and very responsive to any communications. There was a power outage, and they called the power company within 10 minutes to let them know it was out. The ONLY thing which was a disappointment to me was the doors and window alarms set to turn off AC, if open. One of my musts for a stay at the beach is a waterfront with windows open so i can sleep to the sound of the waves. I understand there are people who might abuse the AC system and leave windows open when it’s hot out, but would have loved to had the option as the cool nights were cooler than what the AC was set on when I stayed. 10/10 I would definitely rent here again!! Thank you so much for the stay!!

We stayed at the Tortuga for a Spring Break full family vacation and it was perfect! The home is gorgeous and is laid out in the most convenient way for a multi-family getaway. The home is right on the beach and the views could not get better! The hosts are so attentive and have thought of/prepared for everything, including amenities for the fur babies!! It was a great stay and we couldn't have been happier with the location, house, and hosts!

My group and I had an absolutely amazing stay at this large beachfront home! It truly deserves a 5-star review. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach from the private deck, and the fully stocked kitchen made our stay incredibly convenient. With plenty of space for everyone, we never felt crowded and could still enjoy our privacy. The pristine sugary sand beach felt like our own private beach, and the fact that there were hardly any other people around added to the charm. Our whole group loved it so much that it's definitely at the top of our list for our next vacation. Can't recommend it enough!

The house was perfect for our family of five adults and three children. I have been coming to Fort Morgan for more than 60 years. Tortuga was the best house I've ever stayed in! It was impeccably clean with thoughtful decor throughout. The layout, location (not in a congested subdivision), and amenities were perfect. Saw my first baby turtle leaving its nest for the sea and dolphins every day. Sunsets were incredible. The kids didn't want to leave and neither did I. Thank you Nader and Tonya!

This was the perfect location for a family vacation. It had lots of room for all of us. The kitchen is very well stocked, and we appreciated having a second refrigerator for beverages. We used the grill a few times. A replacement should be considered soon as the tray to raise and lower the coals doesn't work, however the grill is still functional. It was great to be able to sit together for meals as there was enough space for everyone at the table. If you travel often with a group of 12 or more that rarely happens. The home was very clean, comfortable beds, and bathrooms were stocked with the good towels and beach towels. We even utilized the game closet on a rainy afternoon. The beach wasn't over crowded and we had plenty of personal "beach"space. They had a storage box with lots of floaties and sand toys. Overall it was one of the best rentals for us thus far, highly recommended!

Cabin was spacious and comfortable. The pictures on line were true to the cabin itself. Location was accessible, with less traffic than Orange Beach area and easily drivable to Highway 59 and all the excursions available. We would recommend the Tortuga to anyone looking for easy beach access and beautiful white sand and clear water!

House was great. Beach front property, with ample sleeping accommodations. Dog friendly. Lots of tableware/silverware, which made dinners with a large family very nice. Only negative would be that there were many security cameras around the outside/parking area of the property, which I don't recall being discussed or identified. One camera was right as you come up the deck stairs from the beach. They were all outside the property, so it's reasonable they're there, but a notice ahead of time would be helpful and possibly relocating the one on the back deck to a less intrusive location would be good. That's really the only negative.

Our group of 10 adults and 2 infants were very comfortable at this house. If you can go off season I highly recommend it. We went mid May and there was zero crowd on the beach. Beach access with the boardwalk is a breeze and a great plus for this house. The house was clean and very well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. Beds were comfortable. Bring a good beach shade tent because the umbrellas don't provide the shade you really need. It is a bit remote (25 minutes to a "real" grocery store) but that is exactly what we wanted. If you need to relax, disconnect and decompress this is the house and beach for your family. We even hired a local photographer to come to the house and do family photos on the beach. The view of the beach from the house is mesmerizing. I hated to leave.
