Our stay at Red Roof Inn was very unpleasant. The grounds were dirty. The sidewalks had what appeared to be spills (soda, beer, liquids) that were very dirty and sticky. Upon entering the room we noticed a smell. The floors were very dirty and sticky. The sink would not drain. At that point we attempted to find a different hotel with no luck. We were traveling with a little dog and it was late. We had traveled over 500 miles already and were tired. I reported the floor and sink issues to the desk with no response. We did stay for several hours to sleep enough to drive again. This hotel needs a lot of attention. Thank you Gwen Martin

I did not stay at this property at all. The clerk was very rude and unfriendly at check in. I went to the room, the smell was disgusting, I open the refrigerator and I had to leave the room right away. I call the clerk, she was wondering what tot do because there was no other room available. So I did not feel it was the right place for me and the kids to sleep or to spend our time. In my opinion, never sleep in a bed or a room worse than the one you live in.

The room was locked from inside somehow, staff and I had to break into the room to get in. Locked which means it was not cleaned, beds were made but dirty sheets and blankets. Towels in bathroom were folded but had someone’s pubic hair in them. And roaches appeared to great us at night. Our door didn’t lock after getting into it. We’re in the area for more time but switching hotels to the next town. Lady was nice at counter. Just doesn’t outweigh the terrible condition of everything. We’re staying away from red roof inn as a company period. First and last stay with them.

Good price for last min stay, not what expected
It was not great. We arrived late and were tired. No towels, the floors were dirty and the towels we got at the front desk we used to mop up the floor. No breakfast as listed in description, when we arrived it was blacked out in signage and the microwave was dirty and smelled. When we woke up in the morning after shaking down blankets before leaving to be sure we left anything behind, we noticed the sheets were RECENTLY stained, however NOT BY US!! I’m thinking now that the room was NOT CLEANED before we got it and that’s why there were no towels and the floors were dirty. We had driven all day, were not feeling well and were exhausted. The hot water was scalding and the bathroom ceiling has mold growing on it and the room is water stained. There is a dehumidifier in it.

Comfortable but could be cleaner
The room smelled like it was a smoking or pet friendly room. Was non-smoking but there was a sign in the lobby that they welcomed service animals. What looked like pet hair was on the floor and behind a trash can. The bed was clean and comfortable. AC/Heat worked well.

They room as soon as you opened the door smelled like mold & must. I spilt water on the and towel i used was black. Obviously the floors where not cleaned at all. The blind on the window side frame fell off when we pulled the blind down.

It took 10 min. to wake the attendant to check in. The doors were unlocked, a tv was on & no one answered when we yelled or the phone rang, weird. At 6:00am we were awakened with a big falling on my husbands neck. We checked out, told the clerk & he just shrugged, no concern at all. Horrible service and price for this property.

As soon as you open the door to the room you were hit with smells like mold/mildew. It was so bad there was a dehumidifier in our room that we had to empty 4 times and we were only in the room maybe a total of 6 hours (and the majority of that was spent sleeping). There were roaches everywhere. But it was like 1 in the morning and we just figured we would tough it out for the night because we wouldn't be able to find another hotel. Then, when we go to leave we were checking the room over making sure we weren't leaving anything and we happened to move the bed covers back and there was mold on the sheets. MOLD on the sheets we JUST SLEPT ON. And not just mold, there was dirt or something else at the bottom of the bed. Like super dirty at the bottom of the bed. I'm just praying and trying to convince myself that noone else slept in that bed before we did. I knew this hotel wasn't going to be great but this was awful.

First and foremost, the floor of the room was dirty. As evidence when I got out of the shower and walked across the floor, I had to rewash my feet. Upon check out, I was refused a receipt.
