Lungo Fort Morgan Road a Gulf Shores, AL attorno al miglio 10, si trova uno dei segreti nascosti della Alabama Gulf Coast - una spiaggia poco affollata dove non solo si può pescare produttivamente a riva, è anche possibile portare il proprio cane.

A pochi passi da questa spiaggia si trova il "Seagrass Cottage". Il cottage si trova alla fine di una strada senza uscita dove scale apparentemente nascoste conducono magicamente a casa.

Questo 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni di casa vanta viste sul Golfo del Messico, i suoni del surf e solo pochi passi per immergere le dita dei piedi in acqua. Situato nel quartiere privato Cabana Beach di Fort Morgan, "Seagrass Cottage" offre viste mozzafiato, 2 ponti privati e tutti i comfort di casa. Un pass per il parcheggio per il lido privato della spiaggia è incluso e come ospite a Cabana Beach, si è anche in grado di pescare dal molo di pesca del quartiere attraverso Hwy 180 su Mobile Bay.

Ma perché guidare da qualche parte? Puoi scendere sotto casa ed essere al Golfo in 2 minuti.

La casa è dotata di 2 ponti: il ponte principale si estende dalla cucina alla camera da letto principale e include sedie a sdraio e un tavolo da pranzo completo all'aperto. Un altro mazzo è collegato alla camera da letto soppalcata al secondo piano (la stanza preferita di tutti i bambini).

Ci sono 3 set di porte francesi in casa per far entrare l'aria di mare: nel soggiorno, nella camera da letto principale e nell'enorme camera da letto del soppalco. Le opinioni e le brezze del Golfo devono essere vissute per essere credute! C'è anche una doccia esterna in modo da poter lavare l'acqua salata o semplicemente deliziare nel fare la doccia negli elementi (è privato).

Questa è la nostra area preferita dell'Alabama e molte parti sono selvagge e selvagge. Alcuni degli animali selvatici che puoi vedere qui sono delfini, pellicani e uccelli marini, molte specie di tartarughe, moltitudini di pesci, granchi, lontre e sì, anche alligatori (ma non sulla spiaggia!).

Un'escursione educativa a meno di dieci miglia a ovest si trova l'attuale sito storico di Fort Morgan che comprende caserme, cannoni e un piccolo museo. Questo è un bel viaggio breve per gli appassionati di storia e un modo eccellente per presentare i tuoi figli alla storia fisica.

La casa dispone di TV a schermo piatto in tutto (tutte con HDMI in modo da poter portare il tuo Roku, Apple TV, Xbox, qualsiasi cosa), cavo di base, lettori DVD e wifi gratuito.

"Seagrass Cottage" è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dal resort The Beach Club, dove si trovano negozi, ristoranti e persino un centro benessere. Anche il Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge è raggiungibile a piedi. E naturalmente, Gulf Shores, a 12 miglia a est offre molti ristoranti raffinati, Rouses (il miglior negozio di alimentari di sempre) e un sacco di roba turistica, se ci sei.

C'è una zona dedicata alla griglia sotto casa (carbone, niente gas qui!).

Il tavolo da pranzo può essere ampliato e ci sono sedie in più nell'armadio.

Lenzuola, asciugamani e salviette sono tutti forniti. Ricordati di portare gli asciugamani da spiaggia.

I cani sono i benvenuti in "Seagrass Cottage". C'è una tassa di $ 125 per gli animali domestici.

Per affittare questa casa devi avere almeno 25 anni.

The view of the beach from the cottage was wonderful! The space inside was perfect for our family and friends, especially in the living room. Lots of places we’ve stayed have always been more cramped for us all. This was perfect. Everything was great.

We loved our stay. It was so nice to bring our dog along with us. She loved the ocean. The location is perfect. It was so nice to walk to the beach. We went multiple times a day. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck. Would definitely love to come back!

This was the perfect beach house for our family of 4 and dog. The house was very clean and tidy. The house had plenty of room for everyone. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The bedrooms were roomy. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, utensils, pots/pans, baking sheets, etc. The “did you forget something “ baskets under the sink in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. The surrounding area was vey quiet and peaceful. The walk to the beach was short.There were beach chairs and beach toys to use. It was so nice being able to take our dog with us and walk him on the beach. We would definitely rent this home again.

We decided to go away for Thanksgiving this year and found this cute cottage. It was perfect!! We had plenty of space to be together, yet still have our own space when needed. We were the perfect distance to the beautiful beaches. It was quiet and relaxing and just what my family needed this year to have a relaxing and restful break from reality. Thank you to the boys for sharing their cottage!

This house is in a beautiful location. A short walk to the beach. And the beach, was perfect. Some days my family were the only people on the beach. Our kids could explore and have some freedom without us having to worry. Overall a great experience and a great place for kids and families.

When we pulled up, it looked like approaching a tree house. The house decor is so appealing, a nice beach vibe. The kitchen was stocked with anything anyone might need. There is a nice view of the water from the decks, and a short walk to the beach. It was a very pleasant week.

Ran down to the coast with our small dog. Very clean, well equipped rental. A little walk to beach but manageable. A very convenient parking area when carrying accoutrements. Good AC! Quiet and comfortable.

The house and location was ideal for our end of summer vacation. We wanted to take the kids to the beach before school started back and this place was perfect. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and it was just a short walk to the beach. The house was stocked with everything we needed to get started. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The patio/deck was a perfect peaceful space to just wind down after a day at the beach. The beach was not crowded which we loved. The owners of this property have a beautiful home and the property managers were easy and wonderful to work with. We will definitely try to book our next beach vacation at this location.

I stayed at seagrass cottage with my husband and 3 kids. We very much enjoyed being away from the large crowds. This house does not sit directly on the beach but is one street over. There is a pathway that leads to the beach from the back of the cottage. It is actually pretty arduous with kids and gear in tow, although the distance is pretty short. It's mostly loose sand so it's hard to walk and pull a wagon, etc. The cottage itself was so quaint. I loved the architecture and decor. It has every kitchen appliance you could imagine. Even a nutribullet, which I used every day. It also had a crawfish pot, if you're feeling adventurous. It has only 2 bathrooms, which was not a surprise. It got a little tight with all of us trying to wash up after the beach. But hot water supply was good, and water was not too soft. Overall great place and would definitely return

After a horrible stay in Colorado through a different website, booking this home was certainly a nerve-wracking experience. We booked this home as five adults and one dog for the last week of May in 2022. Everyone was pleasantly surprised with the home as it had two porches (one deck and a balcony) as well as plenty of space to move around without getting crowded. We only saw one neighbor throughout our stay as the house is located in a secluded area (second to last house on a dead end road). The walk to the beach was certainly doable though I can see that one might have some problems if the grass gets too grown up around the walking path. The beach area itself remained mostly empty except for the occasional small group coming by every few hours. The water pressure and air system worked great (took us awhile to find the thermostat which was hidden behind the master bedroom door). There was a significant amount of dishware and silverware as well as other cooking equipment already provided. I would strongly recommend bringing extra paper towels, toilet paper, and regular towels as they do not provide any extras. Don't forget to check the cabinets as we found some pretty cool movies tucked away on the last night.

The place was very clean,plenty of room for my family of 5 and our dog with crate, amenities were plenty especially in the kitchen,only problem was it’s a bit overgrown outside and needs landscaping for a place kinda secluded like this one already with wildlife everywhere you wanna be able to see your surroundings more especially while in a place your not familiar with,ran into two snakes while walking my dog in the front and back of property,and this was in November,other than that the place worked fine and everyone enjoyed the stay.
