Everything was great, just a few complaints - the 2nd bathroom had mold in the bathtub and the condo is pretty dated. At these prices, we would have expected more updated. We have stayed many times at these condos in different units and the others had more updates. Probably would not stay in this one again.

Memorial Day Vacay

Came out with my Wife and 6,3, and 19 month old. The kids pool and splash pad sold it for me. It was absolutely perfect. My 3 year old asked when we can go back. Great beach, easy walk to restaurants and if that’s not your thing fully stocked kitchen with all of the things you need to cook a great meal.

Fun stay

The outside was not so desirable. But once inside our room I was relieved. It was very clean and just like the pictures. The keep up on the splash pad was disappointing. But overall we had a great experience

Location

Great location to beach and right across street from market. Easy access to all roads needed for baseball tournament we were heading to daily! Love the fact that there is donation for unopened foods for food pantry and community share of needs like umbrella, sand toys etc. only downside is the back patio door needs work and could barely open. Microwave is rusting and dishwasher is as well. But for all the positives place had for us and conveniences it was overall great experience!

Beach trip

We had a great stay at Seawind 502! The condo was just like the photos—clean, updated, and very comfortable. Everyone in our group agreed that the beds were some of the comfiest we’ve ever had in a rental, which was a huge plus. The view of the beach from the balcony was beautiful and made for some relaxing mornings and sunsets.The location was also super convenient—just a short walk or quick drive to plenty of shopping and great restaurants. It made everything really easy and stress-free.The elevators were a little slow at times (pretty typical for condo buildings), and parking was a bit tight—especially with larger trucks taking up extra space in the covered garage. It would’ve been better if those vehicles had parked in the outdoor lot.Other than that, everything was great. We’d definitely stay here again!

Grandkids first trip to the beach

Great experience! We enjoyed our stay. Kids and parents had a blast. Grandparents enjoyed watching them. Highly recommend.

Great location and beach views

Second time staying at Seawind and it didn’t disappoint. The location is great with lots of shopping and food within walking distance. The condo was clean and well maintained. Elevators can be busy so we liked the 5th floor location so we could use the stairs.

Gulf shores classic baseball and AAU Grand Prix 2024 Volleyball

Overall it was fine. AC blowing hot for 2 days but they fixed. A little loud after 1130. Great location to all our sports, food etc. Nice beach and access.

Great condo

Great condo, great location, great access to the beach, great view of the ocean. There is a noisy fountain in the kid's pool just below the condo that prevented us from hearing the waves of the ocean which was a bummer; my ears actually got tired of hearing it run constantly. The parking spots in the garage are small but after we unloaded by the elevator then we started parking out of the garage which made it easier. We could still park relatively close to the entrance of the garage and the elevator. We will stay in the building again but because of the noisy fountain, we will look for different condo.

Great view , nice property but who ever cleans for them doesn’t do a good job. The coffee pot had so much dust on it u could write your name the floors were not washed are feet were black the first night and we got in late. Property has nice decorations and plenty of dishes. Property needs mattress update. The couch bed springs poked u in back. The couch was definitely broke down. Any questions 419-921-9262. Thanks for listening

Not worth the money

Couldn’t use the pullout sofa-bed because of broken springs and the mattress would fall through the bed. Back sliding door was broken and extremely hard to open without it coming off the tracks. Bathroom door handle was broken and unable to lock. Elevators at the condo were not nearly enough and had to take the stairs up and down with luggage and beach stuff. I don’t believe it was worth the money we paid.

lacking in repairs

Master bedroom shower drain was full of hairs and soap scum. Master bedroom shower water control did not work properly, (Turn water to hot to get cold and turn to cold to get hot.) Maintenace was called, said he would have to get the part and never returned. Livingroom couch cushions were completely worn out. Livingroom sliding glass handle was really loose. Front door handle was really loose. Master bedroom exhaust covering was surrounded with lint. very disappointed

Review of Seawind stay

We have 40+ years of experience as time share owners, VRBO renters and Vacation Club members. We recognize quality accommodations and have high expectations. Obviously, higher expectations than the prior renters/reviewers. We rented for three months – 2023: January, February March. Seawind is a time share exchange resort. There is no front office, maintenance, or housekeeping personnel on site. Any unit issues need to be addressed with the rental agency. There is covered parking but the space between the building support columns is only wide enough for two small/compact cars. Full size sedans, SUV’s and trucks need to park in the front of the building or on level three open area if you don’t want them dinged. We were renting during the winter months, probably more congested parking during the summer. There is a small heated indoor/outdoor pool, children’s pool (not heated) and hot tub. There is minimal space for lounging, but you are on the beach. There are grills - charcoal; not gas. There is also an exercise room in an adjoining building – well equipped. Nice view of the beach from the unit’s balcony and the sun rises. The three bedroom, two bath unit was clean, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. The third bedroom is small (7 X 10.5) with bunk beds, no closet. Suitable for children but not for adults. The master bedroom has a large walk-in shower that is very nice. The unit was repainted in November 2022. The furnishings are starting to show some wear; nicks, dings, scratches. The couch support springs were weak/worn which made it difficult to get in and out. In addition, the cushions and pillows smell dusty. (This has been repeatedly commented on for over more than three years). Baseboards under the bathroom sinks need to be repainted. The washer and dryer are operational – barely. The timer switch sometimes sticks on the dryer, and the selector switch on the washer you need two hands to operate. During our stay the refrigerator failed. A new refrigerator was ordered and installed during our stay. The owner has not addressed the need for upgrading both appliances and furnishings based on prior review comments. While suitable for weekly rentals as problems can be ignored/overlooked in the short term (after all, you are on the beach). We would not recommend a long-term rental. We would give it three stars based on its current condition.
