La dimensione del condominio è di ca. 1.000 mq. La cucina ben attrezzata comprende tutti gli elettrodomestici, una macchina da caffè singola e da 12 tazze e tutto l'essenziale. This was the perfect place for the 2 of us. Clean, well appointed, 3rd floor. The pool was nice and quiet, great section of the beach, walkable to anywhere. We would’ve bought this condo if it was for sale. We have stayed in Gulf Shores many times and this one checked all the boxes. Easy check-in, check out. Great place, relaxing stay!

Great stay in a great location. Was excellent stay for a last minute booking on the Gulf of America. Would definitely stay here again and will be looking for this property when booking next year's trip.

Great stay in a great location!

Great location with great views. Easy walk to the Hangout and restaurants, stores. And about a 15 minute drive to Orange Beach. We stayed over Spring Break and wasn't overly busy, but wasn't overly warm either. Would stay here again!

Perfect place to stay right on the beach. Condo was great and perfect for our family. Very nice and well kept. We will probably come back to this one again.

Beautiful view

This is a small group of houses in the middle of a larger group of buildings so the pool wasn’t so busy located on the beach so it was easy to move back and forth. All located near just about anything you wanted. Very beautiful, very clean, this is the place you would want for your own place.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Gulfsands. Very relaxing and had everything we needed. There was an issue with an appliance but they fixed it in a matter of hours. Super nice people.

This was our second time staying in this unit. While it had everything we needed, the cleanliness wasn't 5 stars. Sand on the counters and hair on the bathroom floors. Stained sheets on the twin bed were reported so a new set was delivered. When we checked out and I pulled the sheets off the bed, the mattress pads and pillows were very, very stained. I reported this to the management company and never heard back. The mattresses need to be replaced! Sad as this location is great, especially if you are in town for a beach volleyball tournament like we were.

Nice place

Wish I could have a do over of the stay as the 3 flights of stairs were brutal and I didn’t realize there was an elevator until the day we left HAH! Nice view from the balcony. My only complaint is the balcony furniture is very uncomfortable and the master bed is very squeaky.

Great Condo !!!

We stayed in unit #306 over Labor Day weekend 2024 and really enjoyed it. We loved everything about this place. The only thing we saw that needed attention was the Queen bed, it needs replacing. We will ask for this unit in the future. Thank you for letting us enjoy your condo !!

Spring break!

Great location right on the beach and a small walk from all the shops, ice cream and restaurants! #306 has an amazing view beach front view, pictures don’t do it justice. Our condo was the perfect size for me, my husband and our 14 and 15 year old boys. We loved that it was a “smaller” unit of 18 condos and not a packed high rise hotel. If we come back to Gulf Shores we will definitely be staying at Southern Sands again! I recommend it to everyone!

Weekend Get Away

If you’re looking for a little place to comfortably sleep & shower with cold AC, on the beach, this is it. It’s so nice to be at a smaller venue with less competition for a dip in the pool/parking, etc. The wide balcony stretches across two rooms (the living room and one bedroom) and is one of the best in this complex. It has places for 6 people to enjoy morning coffee or a last call nightcap. I would definitely rent this place again with a small group. Perfect for a weekend get away for two couples and a guest or two who don’t mind a pull out bed.

Great place to stay for a family of 5 clean, close to good food and entertainment walk to the beach

Had a great stay. Was clean a minute or two walk to the beach. Communication with property management was clear. Will definitely be back it was perfect for my family of 5. They only complaint I would have is that you had to keep adjusting the thermostat it was set on a program time and temp would have to cut it down to the desired temperature about 3 times a day would give it 4.5 stars out of 5 everything else was great other than the cleaning crew got there about 30 mins early on the last day and we felt rushed to leave

Perfect oceanfront condo...

I've stayed at this complex before, so knew it was a low-density condo with absolutely amazing oceanfront views. And, with this stay, we were not disappointed. The condo was VERY clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location is ideal, we could walk to almost everything. The only drawback was the check-in process for this unit. We had to stop at a building on the way in to town to pick up a check-in packet, which was an inconvenience. Since parking passes can be left in the unit, there is a keypad entry, and we used the VRBO app to reserve the condo, I'm not sure why it was necessary to pick up a parking pass and a piece of paper with our code on it. But, it was a small inconvenience to stay at a great condo!

One issue but not the big of a deal

We had a great time at the beach and this condo was everything we had expected it to be. Great location, clean, comfortable. The only issue we had was the refrigerator NEVER got cold! A lot of our food went bad the first day. Maintenance was sent over to look at it but he said we just needed to give it time. So we bought a bunch of coolers and kept everything on ice to give it time to cool down. It. Never. Cooled Down. Even on our last day. However we would still recommend this place to others, you can’t beat the location and popular attractions:)
