From its prime location directly on the Gulf of Mexico, this waterfront condo boasts a furnished balcony overlooking the pool and the adjacent beach as well as a bright, tastefully decorated, and very inviting interior. Step through the front door and find yourself in the well-equipped, full kitchen ready to help you prepare your favorite recipes during your stay. Dine together at the table for six, and then pick a spot on the cozy sectional sofa and watch some TV in the adjacent living area. Guests will also enjoy access to the shared pool as well as convenient beach access.

What's nearby:
For dining out, there are several local eateries within easy walking distance, including Janino's Pizza (offering takeout and delivery) right across the road. Within a mile or so of this condo take your pick from, Bahama Bob's Beach Side Cafe, the Hangout Gulf Shores, and Pink Pony Pub offer dining and drinks right on the sand. And for family-friendly fun, visit Waterville USA and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, both within a couple miles of this vacation rental, as well as Gulf State Park for hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing, three miles east.

Great vacation

There were no cabinets to store our clothes…no bath mat, andb no hangers. It would have been nice to know we needed to bring our own hangers. The elevator was sub par….All in all, we had a great trip but those things could have been better…Also, the fitted bed sheet did not come close to covering the mattress’s.

This place is a dump. So much smaller than pics depicted. Not clean. Really appeared run down and in need of updating, ie. patches in sheet rock not even finished(no paint), raggedy door to master br, needs painting, kitchen is tiny, master bedroom is tiny and it’s en suite bathroom is so outdated and sad. We had 4 of us on trip and were told that we were allowed no visitors at all. 4 people was max capacity. We had llans to prepare a great dinner for 2 friends that live in the area and were told that in no way could we invite 2 guests to our room because it would be over 4 capacity. I have been going to orange beach/gulf shores beach my entire life and stayed in condos every time and Not 1 time have I heard of such complete and total nonsense. The place was 2 bedrooms and had a couch pull out bed—that will sleep at least 6 people. Tried to explain to the corporate office that no one would be staying over the entire night-just dinner and a little chill time. Absolutely NOT was the answer from the main office. The woman I spoke with was a bit rude and harsh and told me they would kick us out if we dared break the rules. It seemed like she was threatening me on our phone call. It was completely baffling to me as I have never had to deal with such outlandish “rules”. I was already upset and beyond disappointed with the condition of the unit and the office staff rudeness was just the icing on the crap cake they were serving. I gave a 1 cause 0 wasn’t an option. Never recommended

Too Expensive

old and rusty....walls need painting and total updates needed for master bathroom. Parking is outrageous....$30.00 and only available for one parking spot. Wanted to spend 2-3 weeks but parking $90.00 laughable. The OCEAN HOUSE 1 office was NEVER open.

Needs TLC and disclaimer

The unit had large puddles in the kitchen and dining area when we arrived and we had to mop up before unloading our things. There is a dehumidifier on wheels that needs to be changed every 4 hours to keep the condo dry. I wish this was advertised so we'd be aware. If you cannot lift a 20lb water bucket from floor to dump in the sink several times a day, then don't book this unit. Because we arrived a day late, the bucket was not emptied and water accumulated on the floors and the furniture was damp. Do not leave the condo for the whole day or puddles of standing water will develop. Master bedroom bed is broken, Ottoman in living room is shredded on top, shower curtain is hung too high and the floor of bathroom floods which is probably why there is mold in the corners. Pros are the view, beach access and the pool. I would not book again at this price

Great view

Great view from the balcony, beds were very comfortable, pillows a little flat. This condo ciuld use some TLC though. Floor could have used another wipe down. No towel hooks, no beach towels so plan accordingly. A few sand toys, chairs, and a boogie board in the patio closet which was nice. Appliances have some wear but in working order. Vacasa was great to deal with, quick in answering questions. Didn't need anything specifically from them but they checked in throughout the trip.

Gulf shores vacation

Overall room was clean and appeared more “put together” and appealing than some other places. Shower was a little quirky but we weren’t in the room much. Access to the beach was easy and pool was nice.

Perfect for a vacation

This is our second time renting this unit. It has everything we need for staying in if we choose to and it's only about a mile to Sea and Suds. It's secure and we can't hear the neighbors.

Awesome view

The property was great! View, awesome! Overall cleanliness was good, but floors could use more attention(looked clean but socks and feet told a different story). Also, remote batteries should be checked and some recepticle faceplates were broken. Overall experience was outstanding, especially for the price!!

Not as advertised

After an 8 hour drive we finally arrived, yay! No...within 2 hours of our arrival workers for the city, not sure who handles beach maintenance, put up a sign warning us to stay off the beach. They pad locked the gate..... so our beach access condo was no longer a beach access condo. The heavy equipment was being brought in and would running 24/7 we were told, until the severely eroding beach was rebuilt. The rental management companies were made aware the day before. So we contacted VACASA, they couldnt help...couldn't find us a condo that offered us what we paid for...beach access from the condo. We left, so after 2 hrs we reloaded our stuff and drive to the BW for the night. Then found a new condo on the beach with beach access right down the road...now they think we should pay for their lack of managing!!!! Really! Very disappointed.

Sweet place by the sea

Clean and nautically decorated space. The pictures were very accurate. The unit is directly on the water so get ready for beautiful views and warm, ocean air. You are on the main strip and not far from all the attractions. Traffic can be a little thick so be looking for alternate side roads around it if you can. The pool was very nice and easily accessible with an elderly guest. They provide very minimal supplies of soap, trash bags, etc to get you started so be prepared to get more if on a longer visit. Everything was incredibly clean except the toilets could have used a little more attention under the rim. Everything worked fine except a lamp in the front, smaller bedroom. The switch was broken off and stayed on the entire time if not unplugged. Very minor though. You can hear a lot of noises from the AC, the road and other units. It didn't bother me personally but others might find it annoying. Overall, check in was easy, the unit was clean and spacious and had everything we hoped for. I would definitely stay again and recommend this unit and this rental agency.

Pleasantly surprised

After reading past reviews I was worried about my stay at this property.. I was very pleasantly surprised. I was impressed w the cleanliness of everything. Furniture was comfortable. The decor was updated and tasteful. Kitchen well stocked w all the necessities. There was no musty smell or odors at the unit. We had zero complaints and a great trip! Both rooms were large enough to house a pack and play for our toddler with room to spare. Tv had abundance of channels which was nice compared to other places I’ve stayed! My toddler LOVED the walk in entry pool and the baby pool. Umbrellas and chairs were available for rent right on the beach from Ike’s rentals for 40$/day for two chairs and unbrella. Beach was a very short walk which was great for our family. Parking was easy and we had plenty of spots available on a holiday weekend. We would definitely come back and stay here again!
