Not a Good Fit For Us
Our first disappointment was that this cabin looks nothing like the online photos. The location and privacy were important to us, but the overall representation was off. While the cabin does sleep 8 people, we were not aware that one of the bedrooms is in the carport, which separated everyone. The bedroom with the bunkbeds (of huge importance to us with the grandchildren) had been changed out prior to our arrival, so we had to get a blow up mattress and play pen. There is only 1 TV in the main cabin (no bedroom tv's). There is also only 1 futon and 1 chair in the living room so we were unable to sit together for anything and they were horribly uncomfortable. Checking in at 4 pm was also frustrating. Upon arrival at 4:45 pm, there was someone there with Harris Rentals (that was little unnerving given the time they had to get the cabin ready). After he left, we were unable to get in so we had to reach out to get access. We then had to reach our again to get access to the downstairs bedroom,, as it is not on a key pad code. After being bounced around, we were finally given a lock box code for a box hanging in the carport. The fire detector went off continuously thru the night, so we finally disabled it. Someone else showed up with Harris the next day to fix a light that wasn't out (ironically, we were napping so they woke us up). The list is long. It's a cute home but just not a good fit for us at all. We will definitely go back to a condo or something more updated.
