The house is beautiful and in a great spot. Close to everything and had a boathouse to keep the boat in. Sam is a great host and helped with everything for our trip. There was 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had enough room to enjoy their time. We had a great family getaway with fishing and relaxing at the pool. Could not have been better.

All went well and my family was pleased with accommodations. My sisters recommended owners attaching a little bit larger flatscreen in great room. Beds comfortable, but seniors need a little stiffer mattresses. I like the French doors from bedroom to go outside. Overall, (A)

We had 4 adults and 8 kids stay the weekend and there was more than enough space for all of us. We spent most of our time in the pool or on the kayaks we brought with us. My nephew enjoyed fishing off the dock. House could use a few updates (low water pressure from kitchen faucet) but we enjoyed ourselves so much it didn't matter. Check-in/out was super easy, beds were comfy, extra blankets and pillows, house was clean. We are already planing our next visit back!

The house was very roomy . Able to have many people and can spread out if you want. The owner was very prompt when we had a question. Close to everything in Guntersville. Would recommend this house

Very peaceful. The house is in a nice area. The inside is very dated, not all the windows open. One of the showers in the bedroom did not work and some of the areas could have been cleaned better. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat from the noise and close to a grocery store without all the noise of the streets, then this is your place.

Mr. Sam was a very sweet man and met my husband and sons when we were just getting there. Showed them where to park the boat trailers. He made a statement to my husband about the property being too much to handle and it definitely shows that. The property is very nice and I imagine it was the cream of the crop in its day. Today it is showing its age and that it has not been kept up. When we went in the front door we noticed right off the bat the house had a musty odor.The cabinets and floors ,stairs outside are showing their age! I think it could be fixed up but we would not book again until that happens! Needs some new mattresses in a couple of the bedrooms. Good plus , we were there when the country was under a heat dome and we had no problems with the air conditioners!

This is a great place to stay with room to relax and kick back with family.The host was quick to respond to any needs will try to stay again in the future.

This property is 30 years old and shows it. We were disappointed by the amenities and necessities in the house. Specifically kitchen items such as serving dishes, sharp knives, etc., dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, basic cooking supplies (only had salt and prepper). Only one of the tv’s worked, light bulbs need to be replaced. The air conditioner went out in part of the house. A chair went through a board on the upper deck. The host did his best to correct some of these problems, but most should have been seen to before anyone rented the property. I wish we had been told the condition of the lake, especially the cove where the property is located (seaweed within 3” of the water surface). The pool was very nice.

We rented this house for a long weekend in July for a family gathering. It was very spacious and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the pool, large back deck and fishing in the lake. Sam was a great host and went out of his way to make sure our stay was wonderful
