“Secure parking at rear of property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. The extractor in the bathroom was either not working or not efficient enough to clear the steam from the room. Also if you want me to use the excellent towels for a second day, a heated towel rail needed , or any towel rail to hang the bath towel after first use. ”

The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. “Check in was fine. Pleasant friendly staff. Had to move rooms 3 times due to various issues. Very small bed. Poor lighting. No hot water in shower. Disappointing for a newly refurbished hotel”

“This was an excellent find. We stayed 1 night in the “attic” room, which met all our needs. The entry instructions and directions to the property were also very clear. An added bonus was the local pub “The Torbay”, which was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. The food was great. The self serve continental breakfast was fine. Liked the quirkiness of the room, would stay again”
