Non male,ma non ci ritornerei in questo albergo,in 4 giorni non hanno mai pulito il bagno,e non cè nessuno che parla italiano alla recepcion. Letto comodo e colazione buona e abbondante. Avevo una camara con vista cortile ma non ho mai potuto aprire il terrazzo xk cera puzzo di mangiare ed ero ad un quinto piano.

Buono, però...
L'hotel in sé per sé non è male, solo che vi abbiamo soggiornato in un periodo caldissimo con oltre 40° di temperatura, e abbiamo avuto un problema con l'aria condizionata che non funzionava. Il personale ha fatto davvero tutto il possibile con la massima disponibilità, ma alla fine la soluzione è stata spostarci in un'altra struttura della stessa catena in una stanza con l'aria condizionata funzionante. Per il resto, a parte il caldo la stanza era, pulita, dotata di ottimi servizi e di un bel balconcino con vista porto. Qualche problema ce l'ha data la doccia visto che, senza soglia, era facile allagare il bagno.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti. Hotel in posizione buona anche se arrivando dall'aeroporto in bus c'è un bel tratto da fare a piedi. Posizione centrale per quanto riguarda i locali per la movida serale. In 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il punto di imbarco per prendere la barca che porta a La Valletta (1.50€ a tratta) e il catamarano per raggiungere Gozo e Comino. A tal proposito, ottimo servizio all'interno dell'hotel da parte della signora Enalys con i consigli, le informazioni e la possibilità di acquistare in hotel il pass. Hotel, però, molto deludente. La pulizia della camera era superficiale, bagno sporco, asciugamano con macchie, piastrelle crepate e in alcuni punti cigolanti. Il piatto doccia era rotto e alla prima doccia si è allagato il bagno. Dopo richiesta di supporto, è stato riparato con un po' di silicone. La colazione, invece, nella norma. Pros: - posizione. Per raggiungerlo dall'aeroporto con i mezzi pubblici consigliamo di andare prima a La Valletta e da lì cambiare fino a Sliema. La fermata è proprio davanti all'hotel -Servizio interno informativo per i tour e noleggio auto con la signora Enalys gentilissima Cons: -pulizia della camera -rifiniture (piastrelle rotte, piatto doccia) Lo consigliamo? No, anche se la posizione è buona consiglierei di provare qualche altro hotel allo stesso prezzo nella zona

George at the reception was amazing and a very gentleman. Hotel was good but the were construction happening outside our room so that wasn’t the best to relax and the heated pool wasn’t heated , but overall was a pleasant stay. And we will remember George’s availability for long time!

Ottima la posizione, pulizia assente, gli asciugamani non sempre venivano cambiati, il bagno non veniva pulito, non ci sono mai state cambiate le lenzuola in una settimana di soggiorno, kit di cortesia non presente in bagno. Stanze non insonorizzate, se vi capitasse la camera con affaccio sulla strada non riuscireste a dormire per via del rumore proveniente da fuori, come se le persone e le auto fossero lì con voi. Colazione abbastanza variegata ma i tavoli vengono sparecchiati e spesso non puliti, sotto i nostri occhi un cameriere ha preso un tovagliolo usato da un cliente per togliere la “sporcizia” dal piano. Abbiamo trovato capelli e tanta altra sporcizia sparsa per la camera con macchie molto evidenti su lavandino, wc e scrivania. Nonostante le nostre lamentele il servizio non è cambiato assolutamente, oltre a qualche scusa e al finto passaggio in camera per rifare il letto non abbiamo notato un miglioramento. Nel complesso ci siamo pentiti di essere venuti in questa struttura, la sola posizione non vale il rischio di sentirsi male per la mancata pulizia. Molto deluso ed amareggiato.

Sembrava un incubo, ma alla fine non lo è stato….
Il primo giorno la reception ci ha assegnato una stanza piccolissima e senza aria condizionata, dopo numerosi complain durante la notte, con risposta “e così in tutto l’hotel” poco credibile, la mattina seguente MIKI grande professionista ci ha cambiato la stanza, housekeeping eccezionali, ma potevano fare di più nel daily. Alle colazioni spicca il nome di EDWIN grande server, attento a tutte le richieste anche lui super professionale, con cui ho scambiato piacevoli chiacchierate. Nota dolente la piscina piccola e affollata anche perché dalle foto ci aspettavamo tutt’altro, ovvero l’acqualuna che dista a due passi dall’hotel bella struttura ma non for free. Tutto sommato l’hotel però si presenta bene

The hotel itself needs big improvements, our room had mold on the bathroom ceiling, the window was broken and we had to call someone to fix it so we could close it overnight. The cleaning was not the best, a lot of hairs left on the floor, cleaning staff are not coming all the times to clean, they didn’t come to our room for 2 days in a row even if we called the reception. The swimming pool at the 7th floor was not heated on a Sunday Morning, the sauna door is broken and doesn’t close properly.. The staff were great and helpful every single time, that is a bonus of this hotel. With one exception, the italian lady selling the Malta tours at the front desk. Please pay attention and ask what you’re getting for the price! She sold us €95 tickets to get to Gozo and Comino. But she never mentioned that the transport within the island is not included!! We got there and remained on the bay area for 2 hours. Location of the hotel is great, with easy access everywhere, Bolt is very cheap to travel around. I recommend going to Julian’s Bay and The point shopping centre, great area. The view from the hotel’s rooftop is great!

Great location. Staff were all lovely and always helpful. Bar shut at 10pm which seemed very early. Rooms are good, daily clean. Breakfast is great with plenty of options though can get busy! Local area is easy to walk around and bus is right outside the main entrance.

Cheap and cheerful!
We had a great stay the hotel is in a great location right on the sea front. Ideal for a budget weekend trip away, the room was fairly spacious and had a fairly comfortable bed and the staff were all very friendly. Only things that let it down were; lifts were small and slow, some black mould/damp in bedroom and bathroom and a broken tile but didn’t effect the use at all! The spa was very busy and main pool was cold but was supposed to be heated. Overall a good stay!

Bayview Hotel is a very beautiful, modern hotel located 10 minutes walking from Sliema and just 15 minutes to Valletta by bus or ferry. There are two direct buses to the airport. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. There was a huge British-style breakfast every morning. I booked a standard room which was very clean and tidied up daily. Most of the room was taken up by a huge, comfortable bed. There was a TV with German channels, a small balcony facing a courtyard, and a bathroom with shower. The top floor of the hotel has a small pool and wellness area, with indoor and outdoor pools (unfortunately not heated while I was there - December 2023), a "jacuzzi" (small lukewarm pool with one jet), massage and fitness areas, and a sauna (which you had to book 1 hour in advance). The rooftop lounge was perfect for sunbathing by the pool even though it was too cold (for me!) to swim. Unfortunately the whole fitness/wellness area was only open from 10-18h so there was no possibility of a workout before breakfast or a sauna in the evening. I spent most of my days sightseeing so didn't use the wellness options as much as I would have liked. The neighborhood is lively but not touristy. There are dozens of restaurants, bars, and hotel bars within easy walking distance, ranging from casual to upscale to fast food to healthy eating. My favorite one was The Balance Bowl vegan restaurant, just 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

Das Hotel liegt gut um Ausflüge mit Boot, Bus oder Auto zu starten. Aber auch zu Fuß kann man viel erreichen. Im Dezember gab es rund herum auch ausreichend Parkplätze, im Sommer würde ich damit aber nicht rechnen... Die große Straße ist bei offenem Fenster recht laut, aber mit geschlossener Tür hat es uns nicht gestört. Besonders das Personal möchten wir hervorheben, jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Great location..great staff...
Excellent location...staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet had good choice and tables were cleaned and cleared as you finished eating. Comfortable bar area with large TVs showing mainly live sport. Bus stop to go to Valetta across the road and to head north towards st Julian's outside hotel. Ferry service to Valetta near by and a cheap and scenic way to enter Valetta. Room was clean and spacious and well worth paying a little more for sea view.Great views from roof top pool with sunloungers. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Good Location-So So Stay
Shower was extremely tiny, lukewarm water for showers. Actually had no water for awhile one day, telephone didn't work to reach reception. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good.

L'accueil à l'hôtel est bon, la chambre correspond à la description et est confortable. Effectivement on entend le bruit de la rue mais comme nous voulions être à proximité des restaurants commerce et mer c'est un peu normal mais en fermant la fenêtre le bruit est très atténué. Nous sommes restés 8 jours et sommes juste un peu déçu que le petit-déjeuner ne soit pas varié, les mêmes choses tous les jours c'est un peu lassant et ce que nous regrettons c'est qu'il n'y avait pas de spécialités maltaises tel que les pizzatis. En ce qui concerne le spa je ne recommande pas aux personnes de réserver pour ce service. Ce n'est ouvert que de 10h à 18h le sauna n'est pas praticable il était cassé au niveau de la porte et du banc quant au bain à remous au niveau hygiène ce n'est pas top.

Good value, well situated hotel
This hotel is well situated on the main promenade in Gzira, surrounded by many bars/restaurants and has a bus stop on the doorstep to access the rest of the island. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, particularly those serving breakfast on a morning and the cleaning staff. We were only B&B so can only comment on breakfast, which had a good selection of items to choose from and was regularly replenished by the hardworking staff. We had a room in the side annex which was a good size and we were fortunate enough to have a large terrace with sun loungers. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels replenished as required, although the bedding was not changed during our 9 night stay. The air conditioning in our room worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, whilst the shower was of a generous size, the doors did not close properly so the bathroom floor would flood every time we took a shower. Our first visit to the rooftop pool found it full of people, with no spare loungers and a quite cloudy looking pool. However, on subsequent visits, the pool was clear and inviting and there were plenty of loungers. Our biggest issue with this hotel is the lift situation. Our building had 1 lift for 6 floors, which would have been okay were it not for the fact that it was the same lift used by staff. This meant that you often couldn’t get in the lift as beds were being moved around the hotel, or the trolley for bags of laundry was in there

Hold jer langt væk fra dette hotel!! Pkt. 1. Det billederne viser er IKKE det i får. Langt de fleste billeder af poolområdet stammer IKKE fra hotellet, men fra den nærliggende aqualuna beach club. Entre dertil koster i 20-30 Euro pr. Person pr. dag. Det “glemmer” de bare lige at nævne noget om. Pkt. 2. På hotellet er der to meget små pools. En indendørs og en udendørs. Begge er beliggende på taget. Da vi var der i uge 31, 2023 var den indendørs pool lukket grundet renovering. Det havde den hvis været længe. Den udendørs pool var åben, men den er meget lille og i dårlig stand. Pkt. 3. Poolområdet på taget er alt for lille. Der var kun 2 parasoller og der er slet ikke liggestole nok. Pkt. 4. Service og punktelighed er en by i rusland. Poolområdet har åbent fra 10:00 - 18:00 og der reklameres med at der er poolhåndklæder. Disse udleveres dog først når de får lyst til at komme med dem, hvilket alle dage var mellem kl. 12.00 og 13:00. Pkt. 5. Pool baren er kedelig og åbnede også først over middag. Der kom først musik når den åbnede. Pkt. 6. Morgenmaden på hotellet er en sørgelig oplevelse. Det samme hver eneste dag i 10 dage, ingen pandekager, vafler eller andet spændende. Pkt. 7. Altanerne er så små at man ikke kan sidde derude som familie. Der er to stole og der er ikke plads til mere. Pkt. 8. Med mindre du har bestilt andet specifikt, er udsigten fra altanen ud til en skakt. På den anden side af skakten glor man lige ind på en anden altan.

Ankom til en kaotisk indtjekning hvorefter vi kom til et værelse med udsigt til en lille bitte opgang. Meget larm på gangene fra hvilken al lyd kom ind op værelserne fra når dørene smækkede til når folk gik/snakkede. Billederne på hotels.com indikerede lækkert poolområde men det viste sig, at det poolområde der var slet ikke var på hotellet men en nærliggende beachbar og som kostede betydelige summer dagligt hvis man vil benytte. i stedet kom vi til en lille udendørs pool og den indendørs fra tømt for vand med beskrivelsen ‘under renovering’. Vi så dog ingen arbejde på den alle 10 dage vi var der og vi var ikke blevet varslet, at der var endnu mindre end normalt ift badeforholdene. Soldækket lille og proppet og kun 2 parasoller. Morgenmaden sparsom og samme hver dag i 10 dage. Ikke rigtig nogen fælles områder så man sad i baren hvis man ville sidde sammen hele familien. Ikke det ophold vi havde forventet men vi fandt andre glæder på vores ferie.

The hotel needs to improve the way it is displayed on the website because on the first day we had a bit of a problem there, because restless and hotel we were allocated, it was not the same as the one displayed on the website. Different room and positions, we had to complain to the manager and then be allocated the room we had seen in the booking app. We realised that other people also had the same problem.

Unfortunately the aircon wasn’t working in the rooms and this spoilt what could have been a pleasant stay. Staff tried their best to make us comfortable. The first room we were given smelled of damp. I couldn’t recommend this hotel in its current state
