“We are totally disappointed by the room and quality standards of Fairmont Haitang Bay in Sanya. We had high hopes on Fairmont, being a prestigious US hospitality brand, and left it the very last stop of our four-day-three-night itinerary. The room facilities are not professionally installed. Room size (allegedly 63 sq m but nowhere near it) and arrangement are not the same as the website suggested. I would understand this kind of standards coming from a three-star class but we paid US$200 for it...

It may not be the newest hotel, but we've been to neighboring giant hotels, and in terms of comfort and luxurious, relaxed living, we know Sofitel is the best! “è stata la prima volta che vi ho soggiornato, l' hotel si trova in zona totalmente decentrata, la colazione è prevalentemente cinese ed offre poca scelta di pietanze occidentali, oltretutto già mezz'ora prima della chiusura della sala colazioni le pietanze che finiscono non vengono rimpiazzate e questa la trovo una cosa inammissibile per un hotel a 5 stelle!!! ho avuto modo di provare il ristorante a buffet starfish ed ho mangiato molto bene. Le camere sono spaziose ma sporche, mi è capitato...

“Family of four stayed in hotel for 11 days - we had great time. Very nice hotel -staff very helpful, convenient location in haitang sanya, rooms and facilities are very clean and comfortable, with big family rooms. My butler Bobby has been great help to us, patient and experienced. Kids club is great for family, staff well trained and great to kids. There are lots kids pools with staff looking after customers all the time, Alan has been very helpful when we were playing near the kids pool....
