“The breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. Also the daily outdoor winter lunch was very good too. One night we had the Chef’s dinner and it really was excellent. No point arriving before your room is ready because there is literally nothing to do, even though the room may be ready, you can’t have it till 3pm. ”

“Great location. 3 minutes walk to Iwatake gondola. Family room is quite big for 4 of us. Facilities are a bit old but well maintained. Dinners on site are very delicious but breakfasts are average. Onsen is a big plus, very nice after a day on the slopes. Staffs are kind and friendly too. ”

“Saiko was a fantastic host and owner of the property! The room was clean, easily warmed in the cold winter weather and daily simple western breakfast was great.
Ly, one of her live in staff, was very useful too for us to use as a local driver.
Saiko was very helpful with food recommendations and helping us call various venues or snow gear hire.
We were a large group of 7 and had booked up most of the top floor. The vibe in the Inn was very communal downstairs for meals or watching TV!”

“15-min walk to the main terminal for buses to ski slopes. Accommodation was a bit dated. Comfortable but nothing special. The toilet smelled bad no matter how many times we cleaned it. There was sufficient space for 3 large adults; would have been tight for 4 and too cramped for 5. Friendly staff who were more than happy to transfer us to/from the station and willing to help and provide information. Overall average accommodation.”

“Amazing stay.
Old hotel but very cozy.
Breakfast was average- they had lot of variety though. For the price, it was ok.
We were 4 staying in one room and didn't really feel that it was too congested. Lounge is extremely cozy after a day on mountains. They have a dry room which is great use for skiers.
Onsen is awesome especially the one outside. We were using it every day.
Must try dinner buffet especially because it comes with unlimited drinks, food was ok. But worth the price, i think.

“A cozy economic inn not distant away from the Hakuba Ski Resorts. Transportation available. Although there were only a few staff member working in the hotel, they appeared to be so nice and dedicated that the experience of service didn’t seem degraded.”
