Hotel a Hampsthwaite

“Property was in a lovely village with a pub serving great food.”

“Ok”

“We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

“Had to cancel our trip due to a medical emergency and flight cancellation. Contacted all hotels we had booked—five refunded us without issue. Even Ryanair did. Cairn Hotel was the only one that flat-out refused, no empathy, no flexibility, not even a partial credit. I explained everything, even pleaded—but they just hid behind their “policy.” I could’ve paid more for the flexible rate, but budget was tight. Shame, because we were really looking forward to staying. Very disappointing experience.”

“Loved everything as always amazing”

“Great location, but not the cleanest of hotels. Hotel corridors smelt fusty and the hotel could really do with updating. Didn’t use the hotel restaurant or bar so can’t comment. Staff were polite enough but on check in one staff member was heard discussing things he really shouldn’t have been discussing in a public place whilst at work. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend”

“Stay spoiled by very loud neighbours from 6:30am. Suppose that is. Ot the hotels fault but the walls are paper thin”

“Great hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast and evening meal. Good location, right next to the town”

“Caratteristico hotel inglese in centrocittà camere confortevoli personale disponibilissimo”

“Lovely and clean, nice hosts and very good location”

“Clean Room. Staff Good.Breakfast Good. Bar Good. Food Good.”

“Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.”
