“The room was clean and the staff friendly. I probably would not come here again mainly because they do not serve breakfast. Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use. “There was no toilet brush in the bathroom, no extractor fan to take away smells and shower steam. There was no side table on one side of the bed, glasses of water, cups of tea, mobile phone and personal items had to placed on the floor beside the bed. Room was clean and tidy”

“Had to cancel our trip due to a medical emergency and flight cancellation. Contacted all hotels we had booked—five refunded us without issue. Even Ryanair did. Cairn Hotel was the only one that flat-out refused, no empathy, no flexibility, not even a partial credit. I explained everything, even pleaded—but they just hid behind their “policy.” I could’ve paid more for the flexible rate, but budget was tight. Shame, because we were really looking forward to staying. Very disappointing experience.”

“Lovely large room with a huge bed. Very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom also very spacious and has underfloor heating! Huge mirror with lightning and a radio. Our room also had a sink/kitchen area which was useful. The staff were helpful and friendly and we would not hesitate to stay again. Its very close to town centre and also has paid parking which is very convenient. ”

“If you are looking for a boutique hotel with a good "value for money", here you are. In the city centre, wide rooms, very clean, lovely furniture, warm welcome, nice breakfast. The cherry on the cake is the restaurant downstairs: lovely food and very nice wines. I will stay here again”
