“Our first time in an olde English castle. It was a real treat. We had a castle feature room with a large and very comfortable bed. The feature was a bathroom in the wardobe ( I kid ye not ) It was very clean and tidy. The floorboards creaked a bit but this is a castle built in 14C so we can excuse that. Only minor issue, the windows only have blinds, these do not effectively block out the light so awake quite early.

"Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back."
