“My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a whole week. It is such a peaceful environment, and is very close to the beaches. It is in a more rural area of the island, so you can see the stars super clearly at night. Some people complained of the chickens making too much noise, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. The yard is super private, and you’re about 98% out of view of your neighbors. ”

“This property is located in the Hanalei Colony Resort and is classified by the resort as a partial ocean view. Other than onsite free parking, no amenities such as the shuttle are available gratis. The pictures in the listing are accurate. Check in was easy.”

“We had the best experience!!! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and the gentleman checking us in gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! Such a cute unique hotel nestled in the mountains of Kauai. It was a little older since it’s Kauai’s first hotel, but they’ve definitely maintained it well and added some upgrades. We will definitely be staying again next time we come back.”

“Horrible experieience at Hilton Garden Inn. in 6 days they cleaned the rooms only three times, even if we asked the full service everyday. The personnel was not very friendly with us when we told them about the problems. Their answer was always: "it is too late now, nobody can clean the room at the moment. we will clean it tomorrow". “This unit is very well decorated, clean, and has the most amazing view of Hanalei Bay. There is a toaster, kettle, small bar type fridge, dishes for three, cutlery in the drawer and all the little extras you can imagine: two beach chairs, snorkel gear, hiking poles, very comfy king bed.
